Departing from Darwin, we travel south along the Stuart Hwy to our first destination, just 50 minutes away. Guests can choose between a 1-hour jumping crocodile cruise or a wetlands walk.
- Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve - Discover these wetlands, home to rare bird species, crocodiles, and other Australian wildlife. Alternatively, guests who opt for the fare type that includes the Jumping Crocodile cruise will visit the Adelaide River instead of Fogg Dam. (optional fare type)
- Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruise - Our first activity of the day takes place near Adelaide River. Guests can choose to explore a bird wetlands or upgrade to a 1-hour Jumping Crocodile Cruise. (optional upgrade)
- Batchelor - Before entering Litchfield National Park, we pause in the town of Batchelor to pick up lunch for our visit to the waterfalls.
- Magnetic Termite Mounds - Explore the impressive century-old Magnetic Termite Mounds.
- Litchfield National Park - Join us for a day of exploring termite mounds, walking through lush forests, and cooling off with swims in rockholes and waterfalls.
- Florence Falls - Enjoy a swim in the renowned plunge pools at Florence Falls or Tolmer Falls, nestled within the forest.
- Buley Rockhole - Refresh yourself in the pristine pools of either Buley Rockholes or Wangi Falls.
- Wangi Falls - One of our waterfall stops is Wangi Falls. If time and conditions allow, we will take a dip; otherwise, we may stop for photos at this stunning waterfall.
- Darwin City - As we return to your pick-up point, relax and reflect on the day’s magic—filled with breathtaking sights, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. What an adventure! We will arrive back in Darwin City at approximately 6:30 PM.

Join us for an excursion to the untouched forests and waterways of Litchfield National Park. Discover a myriad of wildlife, including birds and reptiles at the Fogg Dam Conservation Centre. Wander amongst the impressive Magnetic Termite Mounds dotted around the national park. Take a refreshing break at Florence Falls and immerse yourself in the cool water at Buley Rockhole.
There is an optional ‘Jumping Crocodile Cruise’ available for an extra charge (option WLFC-B). Please be aware that the schedule may alter due to seasonal weather variations.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Not suitable for children under the age of 5 years old, due to safety restrictions
- We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes, appropriate swimming wear, hat, towel, sunscreen and carry a water bottle
- A moderate amount of walking is involved. Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair

Litchfield National park in the wet season. - Did this tour in the wet season but still covered lots of places of interest & had a croc free dip! A well organised trip - the bus was air-conditioned, had an esky to keep our food cold & plenty of cold water to refill drink bottles. Daryl was a great guide & driver giving us enough information but not overloading us. We stopped at some great roadhouses to get supplies & well-timed rest stops! He also was great at ensuring everyone had a good time & did his best to drop everyone back near their accommodation.
Went to Fogg Dam, the Zebra stone centre, saw both types of Termite mounds, Florence falls & a lovely long stop at the Buley Rockholes for a refreshing dip. Also stopped at Wangi Falls on the way back, to see the amazing waterfall there - closed for swimming at present due to crocs - this is where they recently caught a 4.6m one!
Once you accept that at this time of year there will be limitations to what you can do, you enjoy all that you can do. Would love to come back in the dry season to see the difference.

Farm and country experience in Canterbury. - Kate and Duncan hosted us at their farm. In sum, it was a great experience. Learned so much about the farm country, their lifestyle, and was made to feel part of their family for a day. Would definitely recommend this experience.

Litchfield National Park - I did 2 different tours with Autopia Tours while in Darwin and really got a good insight in to the Top End. Our guide to Litchfield Park, Daryl, gave us loads of information on the area and covered a lot of ground in one day. Swimming at the rockpol was very refreshing. The jumping crocodile tour was an unforgettable experience. I really enjoyed the day.

A day in Litchfield - We had a great day went to Fogg dam, lots of birds along the way.
Went to two different waterfalls with swimming holes, we didn’t swim but it looked like those that went in were enjoying themselves.
Lizards, birds, bats and other animals in the area.
Tim was a great guide tell us along the way all about Darwin, the park and wildlife.

Awesome nature and fun - What an interesting trip!
Thank you Aaron for all the information regarding fauna and flora as well as cultural aspects! The laughter was the best. Florence and Wangi Falls spectacular, termites less so, but what an impressive insect 😄
Chose the jumping crocodiles add on - many interesting facts learned , expected bigger crocs do t know why 😄
Recommend for anyone who is interested in different and spectacular scenery!!!

Great day - Daryl was our guide and I had a great day learning about some parts of the Northern Territory. It was a small group, the shuttle bus was comfortable and there were restroom stops. We stopped at Gas Stations with food places for sandwiches and drinks.
I saw a lot amazing places for one day!
I highly recommend it.

Crocs,Eagles,termites,falls,swimming,pub - Great day out, Litchfield and Croc tour was well worth the drive. Tour guide was friendly and had great knowledge of the location and history. Probably would have been a better idea to ditch the last stop ( which was the Darwin River Pub ) As it was after 6:30 by the time we got back to Darwin. Other than that I would throughly recommend this tour.
