Disastrous Experience – Negligent Staff and Lack of Transparency - I recently joined a tour from Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, and it was a complete nightmare due to the agency's sheer lack of professionalism and accountability. 1. Critical Negligence on Visa Requirements: I hold a passport that allows visa-free entry to Uzbekistan by air. However, this tour involved a land border crossing, which has entirely different visa regulations. As a professional travel agency, they failed to provide any information or reminders regarding this. When I was denied exit at the border and confronted them, their response was shocking: "You didn't ask us." This is unacceptable. Travelers pay for professional expertise specifically to avoid these traps. If I already knew every intricate border regulation, I wouldn’t need a travel agency. 2. Misleading Refund Policy: The refund process was equally deceptive. They initially promised a 54% refund of the tour fee. However, the final amount was significantly less. When questioned, they moved the goalposts, claiming the 54% was based on "refundable costs" rather than the "total tour fee"—a term they never defined or disclosed upfront. To this day, they have refused to provide a transparent breakdown of what was included or excluded in that calculation. Conclusion: This agency is unprofessional, lacks transparency, and avoids responsibility when things go wrong. They left me stranded at a border due to their own failure to advise on basic logistics and then tried to withhold my money with vague excuses. Avoid this company at all costs.
