Perfect! - We would like to thank Mikumi Holiday Safaris for an unforgettable, exceptional, and beautiful experience they made possible for us. We saw all the animals up close, several times a day — lions, elephants, hippos, zebras, giraffes… simply amazing! We stayed for two nights, and everything was perfectly organized. From transportation directly from our hotel in Zanzibar to Mikumi in Tanzania, to the accommodation, meals, safari, and the return transfer back to our hotel. We can highly recommend this company!

We were so lucky to find Makumi holidays! - Thank you very much for this amazing experience! Very grateful to our gides Method and Shani and driver Freddy. They took such a great care of us for these 3 days. It was so comfortable, interesting and unforgettable! Everything was great: the ride, searching for animals in Makumi park, accommodation and food. Still can’t believe how lucky we were. Thank you again!

100% must visit! - I went to Mikumi National park on a trip with my son and it was a great experience. Mikumi Holiday Safari's planned my game drive and made the whole experience very memorable. I travelled alone with my son who is 3 years old and they made sure they took great care of him. Our Driver Nasary was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, shared relevant information and engaged with my son so much. If you go to Mikumi, I would 100% recommend Mikumi Holiday Safaris and ask for Nasary!

Excellent trip! - My experiences with this company and especially Benson are really super! Through a contact I became aware of this safari operator. Since I am currently professionally involved in Tanzania, my time was unfortunately very limited. I told Benson my wishes and he made it possible in an uncomplicated way. I was picked up in Dar in the morning and taken by transfer to Mikumi National Park. Including lunch everything worked out fine and I arrived at the park around afternoon. There I met Benson and we started directly with a safari tour until sunset, which we watched at a great place in the park. The next day we started early in the morning and stayed the whole day (again including lunch) in the park looking for animals. Through Benson's years of experience, he always found the right spots and so he made it possible that I could marvel at all the animals (including numerous lions, elephants and giraffes, even leopards ) during my time there - even up close. In addition, he could always tell a lot about the park and about the animals and answer all questions. The accommodation at TanSwiss was also perfectly fine and the transfer back to Dar also worked without any problems. All in all I can only recommend Benson. Great guide, mega expertise and he knows the park like the back of his hand, which allowed me to discover all the animals. Organization problem-free and uncomplicated, the prices are fair in comparison. At this time of year I would also recommend to choose the time of the safaris very early in the morning and / or at sunset - here you see the most animals.

Amazing Safari in Mikumi - The safari was great, we had David as our French-speaking guide and he was great, he gave us lots of explanations about the animals and about Tanzania, he was able to answer all our requests during the safari. He is very kind. Benson was very responsive and met all our expectations regarding the organization of the safari. Thanks to Benson, David and Hassan our driver for all the organization. It was perfect.

Terrible experience, rude staff, avoid at all cost! - Avoid this company at all costs. They lie about emglish speak guides, our guide didnt speak a word of english and was very very rude. When it was pourimg he was refusing to put up the car shades. They also only set is with a driver, and no guide. He was driving very rough and was on his phone the entire time. The safari car was in terrible condition, filthy and uncomfortable. Honestly, it felt like a scam. There are several other companies with friendly staff, avoid this one!
