Mikumi National Park - Full Day Game Drive
Mikumi National Park - Spend a full day enjoying game viewing in Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania’s larger parks. It is renowned for its excellent birdlife and is ideal for spotting predators. The park boasts a diverse range of bird species, along with large populations of giraffes, buffaloes, and elephants. Near the waterholes, visitors may also see lions, leopards, and hippos. The park is predominantly miombo woodland with gently rolling hills.
Uluguru Hiking and Return to Dar Es Salaam
Udzungwa Mountains National Park - After breakfast, the morning trip heads to Uluguru. The hike includes a visit to the Choma traditional village and its waterfall, leading to the Morning Side, an old German mountain hut located south of town at about 1000 meters, before returning to Morogoro. There is an opportunity to visit a “Witch Doctor” along the way.
Guests can extend their trip by adding 2-3 days in Selous. From Dar, they can take a ferry to Zanzibar.
