Dar AlSalam visit - The tour guide was excellent and took us to the right places with good information. He was well educated and friendly and shared interesting stories about the places we visited.

Incredible City Tour! - Bernard was an incredible guide and gave us a fabulous tour of the city taking in several markets, architectural history, panoramic rooftop views… he is incredibly knowledgeable - just: WOW! He took plenty of time and we learned and saw so much. What a privilege for us to be guided by you Bernard - thank you so much.

When in Dar es Salaam, do not miss this tour! - Bernard is passionate about his city Dar es Salaam. He told us about its history, old and modern, architecture, religion, society, art and music. TO h have lunch in Akemi, a revolving restaurant with magnificent views, was a plus. We were taken around the city by a driver in a comfortable A/C minivan. We even visited a supermarket and a bookshop for last minute items we where looking for. It was our priviledge to meet this young, enthusiastic man! Look for him at DW and BBC videos. We recommend 100% this tour when visiting Tanzania.

Must do for a critical insight into historically rich Dar Es Salaam! - I’d recommend a tour with Ben for anyone looking to explore Dar Es Salaam through a critical, knowledgeable lens! We had an incredibly insightful day with Ben in the centre of historically rich Dar Es Salaam. Walking through the bustling Downtown and Posta areas, he shared his knowledge on Germany and Britains colonisation of today’s Tanzania and other histories of the city. His passion for his home town, for architecture, historical ties and continuations make Ben a great guide and will captivate you for sure!

“Exceptional Tour Experience in Dar es Salaam with Ben” - We had the pleasure of joining Ben for a guided tour in Dar es Salaam, and it was an unforgettable experience! He navigated us through vibrant local markets, historic sites, and hidden gems that I would never have discovered on my own.

Way to expensive overall disappointing experience - Way too expensive for the experience. The first stop is the fish market chaotic, dirty and smelling of rotten fish where entrails and fish parts are splashed on your legs and feet. Much of the tour was spent in markets where innumerable people tried to shake you down to buy the same products over and over again which quickly became uncomfortable and exhausting. So much so that I had to ask to end the tour early and skip the last stop which probably would have been the most interesting. Went to Coco beach for lunch my tour guide asked me what I wanted to order but I had no idea what the place served. Before the food arrived, my tour guide left me for over 25 minutes while my overwhelming amount of food was served to me sitting alone and I had no idea how to eat it (you eat it with your hands I now know).
