Basilique Notre Dame d’Afrique - After breakfast, meet the guide in the hotel lobby at 9:00 AM.

Visit the stunning 125-meter-tall Church of Notre Dame d’Afrique, which overlooks the bay above Bab El Oued. It offers breathtaking views, a remarkable interior, and exquisite ecclesiastical architecture.

Casbah - Next, explore the ancient 10th-century city known as the Casbah “The Citadel,” where you can stroll through narrow cobbled streets and discover complex houses, palaces, and mosques from the Ottoman era.

Ketchaoua Mosque - Visit one of the best-preserved Ottoman mosques in the lower Casbah, the 17th-century Ketchaoua Mosque, a prominent landmark.

Alger Centre - Head downtown to Martyr’s Square, where you can see a large modern mosque in vibrant yellow and a former colonial church.

The Palais des Rais - Bastion 23 - Visit Bastion 23, a significant historical monument in Algiers located by the sea. Explore the three palaces (17, 18, and 23) and enjoy discovering its historical significance and secret rooms.

Alger Centre - After lunch, pass by the Fishermen’s Mosque and walk along the Seafront, reminiscent of Marseille’s port with colorful vessels and beautiful European buildings. Continue to downtown Algiers, exploring the grand French colonial whitewashed buildings and various districts.

Place de la Grande Poste - Walk past the impressive Grand Poste office, a prime example of early 20th-century French-designed Moorish architecture.

Le Jardin d’Essai du Hamma - After exploring downtown, visit the inviting Botanical Garden of El Hamma, a large garden dedicated to preserving a wide range of plants, gigantic trees, and featuring fountains and lawns. It’s a perfect spot to relax and escape the heat.

Alger Centre - Next, visit the iconic 92-meter-tall Monument to the Martyrs, situated on a hill overlooking the city, offering fantastic photo opportunities. Then, transfer back to the hotel.

Algiers International Airport Houari Boumediene - Fly to Constantine between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Constantine Tour, Flight Back to Algiers

Palais d’Ahmed Bey - After breakfast, meet the guide in the hotel lobby at 9:00 AM.

Begin the tour at the museum and the exquisite Ottoman Palace of Ahmed Bey, exploring its courtyards, beautiful gardens, colorful tiles, and awe-inspiring motifs and mosaics.

Pont Sidi M’Cid - Walk through the Casbah alleyways and along the Boulevard of the Abyss, enjoying scenic views of the landscapes through the gorges until reaching the city’s iconic symbol, the 175-meter-high Sidi M’Cid suspension bridge, spanning 168 meters and connecting the city to the hill.

Constantine - After crossing the bridge, climb the staircases to the Monument to the Dead, a triumphal arch memorial topped by a statue of winged victory, commemorating World War I victims.

Mellah Slimane Footbridge - After lunch, take a short walk across the vertigo-inducing Mellah Slimane footbridge, offering superb views of the mountainous scenery, hanging houses, and the deep ravine. From here, see the old Bab El Kantara Bridge and the majestic Sidi Rached Viaduct.

La Medina - Climb the staircases or take the elevator after crossing the footbridge, continuing along Larbi Ben M’Hidi Street to see the Great Mosque of the 11th century from the outside. Explore the cobbled alleyways of Souika or the Medina, discovering small marketplaces from the 16th century, the meat section, and houses from the Fatimid period.

Musee National Cirta - After exploring Souika, head to the main center, either climbing long or short staircases depending on health. Visit the National Museum of Cirta, showcasing relics from prehistory, Roman, Punic, Islamic, and French periods, arranged on the ground floor with an exhibition hall and upper floor, excluding the garden.

Emir Abdelkader Mosque - Take the tramway from the main center terminal to the impressive Emir Abdelkader Mosque, a landmark of Constantine, where you can admire its Islamic architecture and lavish decoration.

Return to the hotel.

Constantine - Fly back to Algiers.
