During the Timgad tour, walk through the ancient city’s streets and marvel at the spectacular Roman structures. With the help of guides, the ruins come to life, offering unique insights into ancient domestic life. Explore the Main Gate, South-North oriented street, Greatest Baths of the North, Library, massive Forum, luxurious Latrines, Theater, Greatest Baths of the South, huge Capitol, Marketplace of Sertius, and the famous Trajan Arch.

Constantine - After crossing the bridge, climb the staircases to the Monument to the Dead, a triumphal arch memorial topped by a winged victory statue, commemorating World War I victims.
Mellah Slimane Footbridge - After lunch, walk across the vertigo-inducing Mellah Slimane footbridge, offering superb views of mountainous scenery, hanging houses, and deep ravines. From the footbridge, see the old Bab El Kantara Bridge and the majestic Sidi Rached Viaduct.
La Medina - Climb the staircases or take the elevator after crossing the footbridge. Continue along Larbi Ben M’Hidi street to see the Great Mosque of the 11th century from the outside. Explore the cobbled alleyways of Souika or the Medina, discovering small marketplaces dating back to the 16th century, the meat section, and houses from the Fatimid period.
Musee National Cirta - After exploring Souika, head to the main center. Climb the staircases or take the short ones, depending on health status. Visit the National Museum of Cirta, showcasing relics from prehistory, Roman times, the Punic era, Islamic, and French periods. The exhibits are arranged on the ground floor, with an exhibition hall and an upper floor, excluding the garden.
Emir Abdelkader Mosquee - Take the tramway from the main center terminal to the impressive Emir Abdelkader Mosque, a landmark of Constantine. Explore its Islamic architecture and lavish decoration.

Cherchell & Tipasa Tour
Cherchell - Located on the coast, Cherchell occupies the site of the illustrious city “Caesarea.”
Begin the visit at the ancient museum in “Martyrs’ Square,” housing a rich collection of statuary, mosaics, funerary tombs, and relics, offering a journey into Cherchell’s history. Cross the national road to see the “El Rahman” mosque, resembling an ancient temple with Ionic capitals. Continue south through the town to see the great theater and forum, returning via the national road to the Tenes gate, ending the visit at the great thermal baths of the West.
Tipasa - Founded in the 5th century B.C. by Phoenician sailors, Tipasa became a significant port and a flourishing city of Greco-Roman civilization.
Upon entering, explore the amphitheater, Cardo Maximus, forum, ancient port, capitol, theater, villas, and other public buildings. Discover well-preserved mosaics, trees with unique formations, sculptures, and a circular necropolis marking the site’s end.
Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania - After lunch, visit the Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania, a historical monument from the 3rd century BC. This circular stone structure, known as “Kbour er Roumia,” is attributed to Juba II and Cleopatra Selene, daughter of Mark Antony and Cleopatra VII, or possibly dates later.

Begin your journey at the iconic capital, Algiers, known as “the white lady,” which encompasses many fascinating destinations to explore before flying to Constantine. On the following day, travel to Djemila, one of Algeria’s most remarkable Roman ruins. Subsequently, drive along the highway to Constantine for an overnight stay. Visit the Roman ruins of Timgad, often referred to as “The Pompeii of Africa,” and return to Constantine. Spend a full day exploring Constantine, “The city of the bridges,” before flying back to Algiers. The next day, head directly to the national museum of Cherchell, the Roman ruins of Tipasa, and the Royal Mausoleum of Mauritania.
