Fun & Delicious Walking Food - Great 5-course walking food tour through Jefferson Ave and the Bishop Arts District. The food was excellent, the tour was fun, and the pacing was perfect. Lauren did a wonderful job sharing fun facts, explaining each meal, and giving us the history of the areas. Highly recommend!

Walking food tour bishop arts and Jefferson st - Parker was a knowledgeable guide. The area in oak cliff is a bit rundown although bishop arts was a nice treat. Nice food selection to sample the local cuisine…small portions though left not full and went straight to dinner. Local shopping and landmarks are underwhelming and not needed frankly on a food tour.

Very informative but thin on sustenance. - Did not take this tour being hungry. The portions were very small except for the steak at the very beginning. We literally had to go get something to eat afterward. Lauren was very informative and kind, but she doesn’t control the portions.

Brief look into a pocket of Dallas history - Our group of 5 enjoyed learning about the unique history of South Dallas. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable and had a good feel for the area. The restaurants were interesting, with variety but portions were a bit small, especially for men and im not sure the "drink package" was worth it. The 2 cocktails and a small shot of mezcal were tasty but a small amount for the upcharge

Not worth the price tag - I've takem many food tours in the US and abroad. This was the most disappointing. The reviews were so good, but it was clearly a different guide. First, the guide Parker greeted us in a disheveled fashion while eating his breakfast out of a paper cup. He was good about reciting scripted facts about the area but really was not at all knowledgeable about Dallas. Second, sadly the Oak cliff area is crumbling and not in great shape. The first 2 restaurants had decent food but so old, cluttered and just dated. The third restaurant was closed so he quickly booked a great spot across the street for a mezcal tasting. Highlight of the trour. Best part was Bishop arts neighborhood, but we sadly only tasted from one restaurant there.. Last stop was an oold market that served us ice cream. This was definitely not worth the $110 PP price tag. Trip advisor had a "luxury" description on review. Unfortunately, far from it.
