Airport Road - Upon your arrival by flight or train, your local driver will be waiting with a welcome sign displaying your name to transfer you to your hotel in Dali.

Dali Ancient City - If you arrive early, your guide will assist you in beginning this 3-day Yunnan tour with a relaxing walk through Dali Ancient City. You’ll discover historic sites such as the ancient city wall, Foreigners Street, Gate Towers, and some old churches. In the evening, you can explore the bar street on your own to enjoy the relaxed nightlife.

Dali - Cangshan Mountain - Three Pagodas - Erhai Lake. Overnight in Dali.

Dali - At 09:00, your driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby in downtown Dali. You will then be driven to Cangshan Mountain.

Cangshan Mountain - Cangshan Mountain is a breathtaking natural wonder in Dali. A round-trip cable car ride is arranged for easy ascent and descent. After the cable ride, embark on a 40-minute trek along the plank walkway to take in the stunning views of the snow-capped peaks and lush forest. During the hike, you may capture amazing bird’s-eye views of Erhai Lake and Dali Old Town.

Chongsheng Three Pagodas - After descending the mountain, enjoy a hearty lunch featuring authentic Yunnan cuisine. Then, proceed to Chongsheng Temple to marvel at the Three Pagodas. These pagodas, a symbol of Dali, boast a history dating back 1,800 years to the Nanzhao Kingdom.

Erhai Lake - Next, take a scenic car tour of Erhai Lake, discovering the untouched rural scenery at a leisurely pace. You can visit local villages and enjoy the lake view.

Dali - Finally, you will be driven back to the hotel for a restful night.

Xizhou Morning Market - Zhoucheng - Xizhou - Dali Airport/Train Station. Tour Ends.

Dali - After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and transfer you to Xizhou for a safari tour at a vibrant morning market.

Xizhou Town - This morning market allows you to experience the authentic local life of the Bai people in rural areas. Women in colorful traditional attire with bamboo baskets on their backs come to the market to engage in small vendor businesses, selling vegetables, meats, crafts, handmade clothes, and more.

Zhoucheng Village - Next, head to Zhoucheng, the hometown of Chinese tie-dyeing. You’ll have the opportunity to visit a workshop and participate in a hands-on tie-dyeing class with an experienced craftsman. You can take home the tie-dyed cloth you create as a souvenir.

Ancient Architecture of Bai Nationality, Xizhou - Afterwards, your guide will lead you to Yan’s Compound, a prime example of Bai-styled folk residences. Stroll through the charming courtyard and admire the exquisite architectural art, including wood carvings and sculptures, up close.

Dali - Finally, your guide and driver will escort you to the airport or railway station according to your departure schedule.
