Cangshan Mountain Hiking Tour with Dali Old Town

Cangshan Mountain - Meet the guide in the hotel lobby at 9:00 am to begin the day trip to Cangshan Mountain. You will take the Gantong cable car up the mountain to explore streams, a chessboard, and waterfalls. The hiking tour starts at Jade Belt Road, featuring 19 peaks and 18 streams, with Malong Peak reaching 4,122 meters above sea level. Today’s hike covers approximately 9.8 kilometers, offering a wonderful opportunity to embrace nature and breathe deeply in the lush mountains filled with fresh air. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, and it’s advisable to carry some snacks as there are few shops on the mountain. After the hike, you will take a chairlift down the mountain and enjoy a private transfer to Dali Old Town, where lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will explore Dali Old Town.

Dali Xizhou Town, Xizhou Market, and Erhai Lake with Cruise

Chongsheng Three Pagodas - Meet the guide in the lobby at 8:30 am for a transfer to Xizhou Old Town. In this historic town, you will see traditional buildings and the Bai ethnic minority, known for their distinctive clothing. Visit Xizhou Market to observe local commerce, and enjoy a cruise on Erhai Lake, the second-largest lake in Yunnan Province, known as the “Lung of Dali” for its clear waters and scenic mountain surroundings. After the tour, you will be dropped off in the city to visit the Three Pagodas, built during the Tang Dynasty over 1,800 years ago, symbolizing Dali. Transfer to your hotel in Dali City.

Dali City, located in the western part of Yunnan Province, is the prefecture-level administrative capital of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. Dali City is located in the Erhai Plain, the foot of Cangshan Mountain and the shore of Erhai Lake on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. It is the capital of Nanzhao and Dali in ancient times. As the political, economic and cultural center of ancient Yunnan, it lasted for more than 500 years.

The average temperature is 14degrees it’s a sunshine city but it’s also called windy city, while in summer not hot and winter not cold and all the year is pleasant.
