One of the best guide experiences I’ve had, period. - From the first moment Pape was warm, accommodating, and did everything within his power to ensure the best experience I could’ve had. I can feel the pride for his country and the energy from this man in every location. I joked with him that walking anywhere with him was like walking with a celebrity. Everyone wants to greet him and to be in his presence. Pape was a wellspring of information about this country and could answer any question I threw at him. If you don’t take his tour, you might as well walk blindfolded around Dakar.

Excellent tour and time! - Wonderful time! It was important and felt safer to be with the guide! Our guide was Ousmane. He is very knowledgeable and very helpful! 100% recommended tour!

As good as it gets! Best tour we’ve ever done - Pape was our guide, he’s a great guy and had us laughing all day long. We travelled in comfort in an air conditioned car with an excellent driver. Pape thought of every detail including how to get the perfect photos, how to avoid the crowds, and making sure we had enough water and the delicious cafe Touba! He even sent a selfie from the hotel reception so we knew who we were meeting and then followed up again after the tour with further advice. Pape is incredibly knowledgeable and gave us as good an introduction to Dakar and Senegal as we could have hoped for. In our first experience of Africa, we took the tour on our first day, and he gave us the confidence to explore by ourselves afterwards. Pape struck the perfect balance between time together and time on our own. The tour was incredibly well organised, it was a packed itinerary but never felt rushed, always relaxed and enjoyable. With lunch and drinks included, this tour was excellent value for money and you could not ask for a friendlier, funnier or more knowledgeable guide than Pape. We’ve done several tours over the years and I’d go as far as to say this is the best tour we’ve ever taken anywhere in the world. Thanks again Pape!

Average - Average tour. Communication can be improved to confirm the tour, start time and so on without having to ask. Also the city tour part of the tour was rushed and would have preferred to have more time in central Dakar. The Goree island part was great. Overall, not too impressed.
