The Upper Daintree section from Daintree Village is especially popular for bird watching and departures from near the Daintree River Ferry Crossing (Daintree Gateway) offers spectacular views of Thornton Peak, rainforest and mangroves.
Please note your first cruise will depart from Daintree Village, Check-in is at Daintree Tourist Information Centre located in Daintree Village. Times listed above are from Daintree Village Only. All extra bonus cruises can depart from either Daintree Village or from near Daintree Ferry river crossing. Look for the big Croc Head Kiosk. Cruise times available from near the ferry will be advised on check-in in the village.

Crocodiles! - We had a great afternoon on the Daintree River with Tim, our boat captain. We learned a lot about the river and its inhabitants. We were even able to see two crocodiles!

Croc, croc, croc - The tour was amazing!! We saw multiple swimming and laying on shore, the boat would stop and even go back to give us a better look. Our guide knew insanely much about crocodiles and told us many really interesting facts and stories on the way, not only about crocs but about all wildlife that life in the rainforest like bullsharks, snakes, crabs, etc.

Great crocodile boat tour - Wonderful boat ride, saw some crocs and wild birds. Guide was knowledgeable and very good at spotting things. Ride was even longer than promised.

Croc Spot - The conditions weren't ideal for Crocodile spotting but the captain managed to spot a beautiful female on the bank as well as a snake in a tree. Very informative and thoroughly recommend.
We also booked for a 2pm cruise but we're delayed. We called up and was switched to 3.30pm without any issues.

Crocs in the Wild! - Brilliant value experience to see crocodiles in the wild! We did both tours and personally preferred the Daintree village one, as Neil was a great guide and with there being 6 of us on the boat, it felt a lot more personal. The other one unfortunately had a huge coach load of people on it and we felt quite packed in and due to all their talking we couldn't hear Jet very well, despite him also being a great guide! We saw around 4 crocs on each tour, plus a couple of tree snakes and interesting birds. Would definitely recommend, but would say to go in the afternoon to avoid the coach trips. Thanks guys!

River adventures and a date with scarface and his ladies. -
What a cracking day on the river! We kicked things off with a cruise through the upper river, then followed it up with a spin down the lower stretch. The absolute highlight? Getting up close and personal with the local legend himself—Scarface. The guides were full of fun facts (and a few cheeky jokes), making the whole experience both educational and entertaining. Couldn't wipe the grin off our faces—top day out!

Incredible cruise to spot crocs in the wild with great guides - We did both cruises (upper and lower daintree) and both were great! Our guides Neil and Jet were very knowledgeable and showed us a lot of crocs, including week-/month-old hatchlings, juveniles, females of different ages and scarface, a beautiful male.

So many crocs and great stories and facts - Such a great tour! Saw 6 crocs. The big alpha males, lady crocs and young babies!
Jed shared such great stories about them all and knew so many cool facts about crocs! Would highly recommend this tour.

Great but did not go for 1 hour - The tour was great to see crocs. Very knowledgeable guide who showed us things we wouldn't have spotted. Only downside was the boat before us was late by 15 mins and we arrived right back on time so the tour was only really 45mins.
