Friendly and helpful staff - Both the guide and the driver were very friendly. The guide ran back and forth to help everyone in need. Indeed, it's not an easy trip for the guests due to the high elevation. But the guide made sure everyone was well. Really helpful!

Unforgettable experience - It was unbelievable and a memorable experience going up to see the rainbow mountain especially if you are not that physically fit . The rented horse did the 80% of the hike and the remaining 20% you will do it yourself. The tour guide (Ruben) was very helpful and supportive. He explained what is going to happen on the hike and he will motivate you not to give up. Most of all, you will never forget your experience as Ruben took beautiful pictures and video’s of you. 😁Overall, I Highly Recommend this tour. For your preparation, I suggest to do a cardio exercise for your breathing and it will help your climb to high altitude.

Mountain of the Colors - A wonderful place, with a level of difficulty a bit high but nothing impossible!! The view is worth it! Today I would climb on a bike, because though looking the climb is mild, the altitude and the cold end up making the climb quite challenging! Riding a motorcycle and choosing the sculpture of the hand gives beautiful photos

High-altitude adventure - It was a great experience with beautiful views! I’d recommend it, if you feel well in Cusco. Based on your physique and adjustment to the high altitude, you may want to consider an option of a horseback riding a part of the way to the top. Dress in layers, it may be windy at the final destination. The guides were very friendly and helpful.

Day trip to rainbow mountain - An amazing hike to rainbow mountain. Excellent planing and good price. Better than machu pichu experience in my opinion. Our guide was the best. Alfredo. He has excellent knowledge. And thanks to him we got amazing views and beat the crowd and the bad weather timing. Despite their being soo many clouds. Fun and happy tour guide with a world of knowledge and experience. 👌👌

Rainbow Colours - Another trip with 'The Adventure People' part of G Adventures. What a memorable hike this was. The trip is absolutely beautiful and well worth it. You don't really need hiking sticks for this trek i walked up with one, just incase, but its really not needed. There are a couple of Lamas near the top you can get photos with which is so fun! Recommedn doing this, such beautiful photos and back drop. This place used to be covered in ice, and since the ice melted and it is a volcanic area, its created these beautiful rainbow esq colours.

What a ride ! - Once you get to the top you'll be proud of yourself! Ok I'll be honest the journey to the mountain was long, the restaurant had meh food and it was the same location for breakfast and lunch. I choose to go up the mountain via motorcycle and even once I reached the top I struggled breathing so really take your time. I got some great pics! Glad I pushed myself.

Awesome Mountain, better screening needed for participants - Overall, I had a good time on this excursion, the guide was knowledgeable, and the Mountain is a serious challenge. Read that again it’s a serious challenge, meaning that if you aren’t in shape, you should not be doing this. One thing I don’t think this company did well is manage expectations around the level of difficulty Rainbow Mountain is, I get the feeling that a lot of companies are doing this because they want the money but you’re talking a 17,000 foot elevation. Unfortunately, they don’t screen people and there was someone on the group that made us wait almost a hour because he clearly did not read up on the level of difficulty and as a result we were without a guide for much of the duration. You need to be in VERY good shape to do this. You can’t be a smoker and you can’t be overweight and someone who doesn’t go to the gym. Please read this warning for anyone considering this trek.
