Pick-up is scheduled between 6:00 am and 6:30 am from your hotels. The journey lasts about 6 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Along the way, you will pass through the towns of Santa Maria and Santa Teresa, eventually reaching Hidroelectrica. From there, you will embark on a 13 km walk to the town of Aguas Calientes, which takes approximately 3 hours. This path runs alongside the train tracks, so while the walk is safe, it is crucial to stay alert for passing trains and adhere to safety signs. The following day, the return service to Cusco is available. To return, you must go back to Hidroelectrica. Return bus schedule: 1st bus at 2:00 pm (14:00 hrs) and 2nd bus at 3:00 pm (15:00 hrs).
