Beautiful area with great hosts - Picked up from my hotel, a lovely ranch set up in the hills in amazing scenery. A lovely snack given for a stop. Was lovely to be out in the surroundings, my horse Wayqe was lovely! Highly recommend

Perfect Day - What a wonderful day! The horses were easy and gentle. The views were amazing. Our wonderful guide was patient and full of knowledge. They were so prepared and provided is with ponchos when there was a possibility of rain and snacks and water. I highly recommend this tour. The whole group enjoyed it.

Great experience! - We loved the horseback ride with Gabriel. He brought us to the Inca Temple of the Moon, riding down a path. The horses were very well trained and obedient. At the end of the tour he took us to a location overlooking the city and gave us some snacks. His assistant was in front and Gabriel was in the back. Our family of four felt very well cared for. He provided helmets and helped us on and off the horses. We also saw wild guinea pigs! On the way back we requested that he stop at an Alpaca weaving factory where we saw lots of different kinds of alpaca. The only negative was that we weee on a road with the occasional car for a short period of time. Gabriel reassured us that in 35 years there had never been an accident. All in all an exceptional trip!

Highly recommend!! - AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Gabriel and his team have beautiful well taken care of horses that were delightful for my group. His knowledge of the ruins were very insightful and he was so kind! Very much recommended Gabriel and his ranch for anyone coming to Cusco!

Excellent experience from start to finish, I would definitely recommend this activity! - Had an amazing experience with Gabriel and his ranch near Cusco. The horses were well cared for, calm, and perfect for riding through the incredible mountain scenery. Gabriel was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience feel personal rather than rushed or touristy. The views were absolutely unreal, and you can tell he genuinely cares about both the animals and the people visiting. One of the highlights of my time in Peru without question. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic horseback experience near Cusco.

Must do excursion even if you’ve never ridden a horse before. - Very much recommend this, even if you’ve never ridden a horse before. I was a little bit dubious when I saw we were approaching a main road but the horses were so well trained they knew what to do even if I didn’t. Such a gorgeous alternative way to explore the area and Gabriel was so knowledgeable. Highly recommend this.

Away from the crowds - Gabriel was a fantastic and expert guide. The horses were gentle and well trained. We had a small group of 5 and rode through beautiful mountain landscapes, learned about Incan culture, explored caves, took in views. If you need a break from the crowds and want to ride quietly on the mountain top through eucalyptus scented forests… this is the one. (And they pack you snacks to eat on the mountain.) It was wonderful.

Wonderful trip - We had a very excellent morning riding through stunning scenery in the hills above Cuzco. Transport arrangements (hotel collection/drop off) were efficient and on time and the drive to the ranch was only about 10 minutes. The horses were lovely - very well trained, gentle and responsive. Gabriel obviously loves his job and his horses and gave us a very informative and entertaining talk at the two stops. Snacks (water, crisps, biscuit, chocolate) were provided. We had six people on the ride - including beginners-and we mainly walked with a bit of trotting but it was varied terrain and so peaceful up there. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Perfect way to spend a morning - We booked this last minute and are so glad we did. Neither of us are experienced riders but we felt so comfortable and safe throughout. We had some beautiful views and learned some history.
