Humantay Lake - This incredible journey begins with a hotel pickup, followed by a two-hour drive to the Mollepata community, where the first breakfast is available, though not included. After breakfast, the journey continues to Challacancha, the starting point of the hike. The trek to the campsite takes approximately two and a half hours, during which hikers will experience the original Inca trail canal. The breathtaking view of the distant Salkantay mountain adds to the unique experience. Upon arrival at the Sky Campsite, accommodations are provided, and lunch is served to replenish energy. After some free time, the hike to Humantay Lake begins, taking about two hours uphill and one hour back. The stunning beauty of Humantay Lake is sure to captivate.
Soraypampa (Star Camp Site) – Salkantay Pass – Soraypampa (Star Dome Camp Site) – Cusco
Salkantay Trail - The day starts early with breakfast, followed by a hike to the Salkantay Pass. The trail passes through Salkantay Pampa and continues in a zigzag pattern, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Upon reaching the pass at 4,630 m / 15,228 ft, there are opportunities to capture stunning photos of the snow-capped Salkantay mountain. The round trip to Soraypampa takes approximately seven hours. A delicious lunch awaits to restore energy before the three-hour drive back to Cusco, where guests are dropped off at their hotel.
