Machu Picchu - The Inca Trail adventure starts from the Ollantaytambo hotel with a memorable 1-hour 30-minute train ride to the starting point. Along the picturesque route, travelers can admire the Sacred Valley and snow-covered peaks. After crossing the Urubamba River, the Inca Trail entrance is reached. The trek begins at the archaeological site of Chachabamba, followed by a 3-hour climb to Wiñaywayna, meaning ‘forever young’. The hike continues through the cloud forest to Intipunku, the ‘Sun Gate’, offering a sweeping view of Machu Picchu. The journey ends with a brief drive to Aguas Calientes.
