- Cusipata - In Cusipata, guests can stretch their legs, use the restrooms, and enjoy a buffet breakfast. Following this, the transport will continue for 1 hour to the starting point of the hike to Rainbow Mountain.
- Rainbow Mountain Peru - At the starting point, participants will exit the van, receive guidance from the tour leader, and commence the hike to Rainbow Mountain, which will take approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. During the hike, the ever-changing colors of the landscape and mountains will be observed. Upon arrival at Rainbow Mountain, there will be ample time to take photos and appreciate this natural marvel, surrounded by the enchanting mountains, clouds, and snow-capped peaks. The return journey will follow the same trail, offering a more leisurely and relaxed hike.
- Cusipata - After the hike, guests will return to the restaurant in Cusipata for a delightful lunch prepared by an Andean chef. After some free time, transportation will be provided back to Cusco, with arrival in the city center expected between 5:00 and 5:30 pm.

Amazing views - Such an amazing experience! My family booked with Minkas Travel, and they took such great care of us. Our travel guide, Irvin, kept us informed about the mountain, beliefs and traditions of the people living there. Once we got up the mountain the views are amazing and definitely recommend going! You wake up early but it's worth it!

Amazing hike and great service! - I highly recommend using Minkas for your tours in Peru. We had initially scheduled a tour to Machu Picchu. On or two days before Machu Picchu, we wanted to add Rainbow Mountain. Minkas put together a very reasonable proposal within a day and picked us up promptly at 3:30 am the folllowing day from our hotel in Cusco with Aurelio (Driver), Irwin (Tour Guide), and Angel (Assistant). What an amazing team to have at our side during a very challenging but very rewarding hike. Irwin was very knowledgeable about the region and offered great insights about the culture, food, and region. They packed a delicious lunch for us and even brought us hot coca tea in a thermos to help with the elevation. I was amazed that Irwin and Angel climbed the entire hike with us. The elevation is very high with low oxygen and it’s very challenging work but they were with us every step of the way. At the top, Irwin took the most stunning photos. He is a gifted photographer and it shows in his pictures. We are so grateful for the hard work Minkas put into the hike, especially on such short notice. They were worth every penny and I would definitely choose them again.

A memorable hike to Rainbow Mountain - Our exclusive private tour to Rainbow Mountain with Minka’s Travel was an unforgettable adventure. Irwin, who was both our main agent and tour guide, played a crucial role in making this experience exceptional.
Irwin’s extensive knowledge about the area and his friendly demeanor made the entire journey enjoyable. Despite the difficulty of the hike, Irwin’s positive energy and motivation kept us going, and reaching the top was incredibly rewarding.
The views from Rainbow Mountain were absolutely stunning, and the sense of accomplishment we felt was unparalleled.
We highly recommend Minka’s Travel for anyone looking to experience the wonders of Rainbow Mountain with an exceptional guide.

Really enjoyed the Rainbown Mountain tour - Thank you so much for an amazing Tour!! We had such a fun time. Irwin was very knowledgeable of the Vinicunca Mt. we visited and provided plenty of explanations and comments. Communication with Minkas Travel, pick-up and drop-off in Cusco were smooth. Fantastic one day hike to Rainbow Mountain - Had a great time at the Rainbow Mountain with my group and our guide Irwin. So knowledgeable about the trail and really made our trip the best! It wasn't just a trek, but a great learning experience and unforgettable adventure.
The service quality was great from the beginning to the end. Highly recommendable!!
