• Urubamba River - Experience an exhilarating one-day river rafting adventure on one of Peru’s most significant rivers, part of the Amazon basin. The river flows from the high Andean ranges through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing by Machu Picchu. Depending on the river section and time of year, it offers thrilling whitewater experiences. The most notable rafting section during the season is in the Chuquicahuana area, known as “Chuqui,” featuring class III rapids on the Upper Urubamba River. This area boasts excellent class III rapids, and the water remains unpolluted. This river section is packed with adrenaline, featuring fast class II and III rapids in the “Chuqui” section, and includes a safety Cataraft or Kayak.

The thrilling adventure kicks off with a pickup from your hotel in our private transport. After a scenic one-and-a-half-hour drive, we reach the “River Lodge,” our exclusive campsite by the river, where you can securely store your luggage. Enjoy amenities such as hot showers, toilets, a relaxing sauna, and a cozy dining area.

Our expert Rafting Guides, fluent in English and Spanish, will equip you with all necessary rafting gear, including a helmet, wetsuit, spray jacket, paddle, and self-bailing raft. Following a detailed safety briefing, a short 10-minute drive will take you to Chuqui, where you’ll experience the thrill of navigating exciting class III & III rapids.
