- Cusco - Guests will be picked up from their hotel (preferably located within the historic center) at a designated time, and the journey will commence towards Phinaya, taking approximately 5 hours. The trip will ascend to an altitude of 4,700 meters above sea level, traversing stunning high-altitude landscapes.
- Centro poblado Phinaya - Upon arrival in this community, a nutritious breakfast will be served, followed by a 1-hour break. After breakfast, a 45-minute vehicle ride will take guests to the base of the Quelcaya Glacier. From there, a 30-minute hike will lead to the glacier, offering views of lagoons, streams, vicuñas, and the majestic mountains of the Vilcanota range. (Please note that horses are not available.)
- Quelccaya Ice Cap - The exploration of the Glacier’s surroundings will last for 50 minutes, reaching an altitude of over 5,600 meters above sea level. There will be ample time for photography and reflection in this awe-inspiring natural setting.
- Centro poblado Phinaya - Following the glacier visit, guests will return to the community of Phinaya for a delightful local lunch. The return journey to Cusco will then begin, with a special stop at the enchanting Sibinacocha Lagoon, allowing time to enjoy the scenery and make any desired purchases.
- Cusco - At around 4:00 pm, the return trip to Cusco will commence. The tour will conclude with arrival in Cusco at approximately 9:00 pm, with drop-off conveniently located one block from the Plaza de Armas.
