Trip of a Lifetime - What an experience! This is one of those places on earth you should see. The history and skill of the people who built this is unimaginable. Peru has begun limiting the number of visitors and that really helped give you a feeling of the place without the crowds. Terrific views. Amazing history.

A Timeless Wonder in the Clouds - The Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu is truly a breathtaking destination that feels like stepping back in time. Surrounded by lush green mountains and misty clouds, the ancient Incan ruins are incredibly well-preserved and full of history. The views are absolutely stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere makes the experience even more special. It’s a must-visit place that leaves a lasting impression on anyone who goes

Just like the pictures - views are awesome! - We had a 8 AM reservation for Machu Picchu and caught the bus at 7:15 bus. The line for the bus moves quickly and once we got in line to get in the site it took about 8 minutes. We stayed about 90 minutes and enjoyed the views. We did the 3rd circuit - the bottom one. My husband has vertigo and he was able to manage the stairs on this circuit. Awesome experience

Perfect - We went to Machu Picchu on a trip among friends along with Machu Picchu Brazil. The experience was amazing, and the guide Erwin was very clever, made the visit even more interesting. We made the WaynaPicchu Mountain trail which was exceptional to close our visit with a golden key. The circuit chosen was 3, I would indicate 2. But it is necessary to reserve well in advance.

Favorite guide for South American travel - German in Machu Picchu was the best guide I ever met on a trip all the way to South America, he was kind, gracious, explained vivid images and didn't bother taking many beautiful pictures of me, thank you very much.

You must have seen! - You have to say, just spectacular! I recommend a guided tour to everyone, which brings the whole thing much closer to them. We also recommend: we rented for two nights at the hotel and even went up the mountain twice. We picked up tickets for the first day at noon and the next morning. So we went up at 6:30 a.m. on one of the first buses. Are then no crowds of tourists on the road and sunrise combined with fog simply magnificent. A natural spectacle!

Machu Picchu, The Galápagos Islands, Ecuadorian Amazon, and more! - My husband and I traveled to South American in May 2024. We booked our entire trip to (with the exceptions of flights which we booked on our own) to Ecuador and Peru (including Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu) with Maria - Columbus Travel, Quito, Ecuador. The service was outstanding and Machu Picchu is amazing. My husband took a further day hike to Huayna Picchu with out guide - no thank you but he loved it!

Disappointing - I've been disappointed, The citadel is very restored, it is unoriginal. There’s not a single sketch, not a single description of the place, all so you can hire a guide and pay for it. Lots of mercantilism total disappointment
