Cusco City Tour

Cusco - Upon arrival, guests will be greeted at the airport or bus station and transferred to their hotel in Cusco. In the afternoon, around 1:00 p.m., the tour will commence with a pick-up from the hotel. The first stop is the Temple of Qorikancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun. The guided tour will then proceed to the archaeological sites surrounding Cusco, including Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. The tour concludes at the main square of Cusco around 6:00 p.m. Guests will spend the night at a hotel in Cusco.

Sacred Valley of The Incas

Sacred Valley - At 8:00 a.m., guests will be picked up from their hotel. The journey begins with a visit to the town of Pisac, located 45 minutes from Cusco, to explore the Pisac Archaeological Center. Pisac is also known for its craft market, offering a variety of alpaca clothing and crafts. At noon, the tour continues to Urubamba for a buffet lunch.

In the afternoon, the tour visits the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, an ideal time for photography due to the softer lighting. Ollantaytambo is rich in history and legends, and guests will enjoy a guided walk. After exploring these remarkable sites, the guide will assist guests in boarding the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, after a two-hour journey, an assistant will escort guests to their hotel.

Machupicchu

Aguas Calientes - Early in the morning, guests will head to the bus station for a 25-minute ride to the Machu Picchu Archaeological Sanctuary. Upon arrival, they will witness the breathtaking sunrise and the stunning views of the Inca citadel. A guided tour will provide insights into the history and architecture of Machu Picchu, showcasing the impressive Inca structures and temples amidst the natural surroundings. In the afternoon, guests will take the train back to Ollantaytambo station, where they will be picked up and transferred to their hotel in Cusco. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cusco.

Maras and Moray

Moray - The tour begins with a pick-up around 7:30 a.m., heading to Moray, located 38 km from Cusco, for a guided tour to learn about its historical significance during the Inca era.

After visiting Moray, the tour continues to the Salt Mines of Maras, consisting of approximately 3000 pools. Maras salt, known for its mountain origin and medicinal properties, is highly sought after. Guests are encouraged to purchase pink salt, rich in health-beneficial minerals. The tour returns to Cusco, with a stop in Chinchero to visit an alpaca factory, where locals demonstrate the alpaca production process.

Rainbow Mountain

Rainbow Mountain Peru - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Cusco at 4:30 a.m. and taken to the breakfast point.

After a brief rest, the journey continues with a 20-minute drive to the first Base Control. From there, a hike of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes leads to the Red Valley mountain range, providing access to the stunning Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca. During the hike, guests will observe the typical flora and fauna of the Andes, including llamas and alpacas.

Upon reaching the Vinicunca viewpoint (5,100 meters above sea level), the guide will offer an informative explanation about the topography, ecosystem, and the mountain’s vibrant colors.

The return follows the same trail back to the hike’s starting point, where transportation will be ready to take guests back for a delightful Andean lunch. After lunch, the return journey to Cusco will commence, with an expected arrival around 4:00 p.m.
