• Pallay Poncho - EXPERIENCE

Around 8:00 AM, set off on a guided hike to Pallay Poncho Mountain. The trail is short and accessible, with a professional guide maintaining a comfortable pace while sharing insights into local culture, geology, and the unique high-altitude ecosystem.

From the outset, the route is visually captivating, offering panoramic views of Langui Lake and a dramatic landscape of striking red mountains and distant rock formations. As the ascent continues, the scenery becomes even more breathtaking until reaching the Pallay Poncho Viewpoint.

At the summit, enjoy free time to explore the remarkable multicolored rock formations that resemble an Andean poncho draped across the mountain. Capture unforgettable photos and relish the tranquil atmosphere, far from the crowds.

After soaking in the views, embark on a gentle 20-minute downhill walk back to the vehicle. Return to Cusipata, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits before continuing the journey back to Cusco.
