The journey begins with a transfer from the hotel in Cusco at 3:30 am to the train station for a one-way trip. The PERU RAIL train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Upon arrival, the guide will be waiting with a sign displaying the traveler’s name. There will be time for breakfast before boarding the CONSETUR bus to the Machu Picchu archaeological center. A guided tour will explore the various architectural sites of this stunning Wonder of the World. After the tour, the group will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and have time to explore the city. Visitors can enjoy the warm atmosphere, take photos, or visit the medicinal baths, just a 5-minute walk from Machu Picchu square. The return train to Ollantaytambo departs in the evening, where transportation will be ready to take travelers back to Cusco, concluding the tour near the main square at approximately 9:30 pm. From there, a taxi can be taken to the hotel.
