Welcome to Cusco + Walking Tour Acclimatization

Cusco - Upon arriving in the imperial city of Cusco (3,399 m above sea level), a representative will warmly welcome you with a sign displaying your name. You will receive brief guidance on acclimatization, altitude tips, and a complimentary bottle of water or coca tea.

During the journey (approximately 15–20 minutes), the representative will provide a general introduction to Cusco, its history, customs, and what to expect from your trip. Once at the hotel, assistance with check-in will be provided, and a brief rest is recommended to acclimate.

Cusco - After a restful night, enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a unique day of connection with nature and the living history of the Sacred Valley.

Mountain View Experiences - Private transport will take you to the pampas de Maras, surrounded by nature, agricultural fields, and a stunning view of the majestic snow-capped Veronica, Chicón, and the Urubamba mountain range. Option 1: ATVs
After a brief safety talk and practice, set off on four-wheelers along rural roads to Moray, an Inca agricultural laboratory with impressive circular terraces, and then to the Salineras de Maras, a surreal landscape of over 3,000 active salt pools dating back to pre-Inca times.

Option 2: Transport by car
For those preferring a more comfortable route, take the same tour by private vehicle, with a local guide at each archaeological site.

There will be time for photos, contemplation, and purchasing pink salt or local crafts directly from families in the area.

Mountain View Experiences - Upon returning to Mountain View, relax in your tepee. In the evening, you are invited to share a campfire under the stars, accompanied by Andean stories, ancient music, and local herbal tea.

Sleep in comfortable tepees inspired by traditional nomadic homes, with direct views of the snowy Sacred Valley. Enjoy a magical night of silence, starry skies, and deep rest.

Ollantaytambo + Panoramic Train to Aguas Calientes

Mountain View Experiences - Wake up to the sound of nature and the first rays of sunlight illuminating the snowy Sacred Valley. Enjoy a nutritious breakfast made with fresh local ingredients, perfect for starting the day with energy.

Ollantaytambo - After breakfast, private transportation will take you on a scenic route of about 1 hour to Ollantaytambo, one of the oldest continuously inhabited towns in America and the last bastion of Inca resistance.

Ollantaytambo - With your guide, explore the impressive terraces, temples, water channels, and cyclopean structures of this majestic Inca city. Discover its astronomical, agricultural, and military functions, and understand why the Incas considered this place a sacred energy point.

Enjoy free time to take photos or explore the local artisan market, ideal for purchasing handmade souvenirs from the inhabitants.

Aguas Calientes - At the designated time, board the scenic train to Aguas Calientes. During the 1 hour and 45-minute journey, relax and enjoy the views through the wide windows of the Urubamba River canyons, mist-covered mountains, waterfalls, and cloud forests – the perfect prelude to your encounter with Machu Picchu.

Upon arrival at the station, a representative will accompany you to the selected hotel, where you can check-in and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Explore this charming village surrounded by mountains, visit the craft market, or relax in the thermal baths. Guests can also dine in one of the river-view restaurants or hanging gardens.

In the evening, meet with your guide for a brief meeting to explain all the details of the Machu Picchu tour the following day: schedules, recommendations, and tips to make the most of the visit.

Machu Picchu + Return to Cusco

Aguas Calientes - Very early, before dawn, enjoy a light breakfast at your hotel. At the coordinated time, the guide will pick you up to take the ecological bus along a mountain path to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

Machu Picchu - Today is the big day: enter the sacred city of Machu Picchu, one of the wonders of the modern world and a World Heritage Site. Accompanied by a private professional guide, explore the temples, steps, ceremonial grounds, water channels, and agricultural terraces that reveal the mastery and wisdom of the Inca civilization.

For 2 to 2.5 hours, explore the main sectors.

Aguas Calientes - Return by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch (not included) and to collect your belongings from the hotel.

Ollantaytambo - In the afternoon, board the scenic train back, a last chance to enjoy the magical landscapes of the high Andean jungle.

Cusco - Upon arrival, private transport will take you directly to your hotel in Cusco (approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes).
