Stunning - The organization of the tour was impeccable and the guide very attentive! Breakfast/lunch in a beautiful and very good place. On the track: I had no symptoms of altitude, but as my group followed very quickly and it was very hot, I chose to catch the horse, afraid of being too behind. It's worth every step. The view is stunning. The golden tip is: once you reach the lagoon, continue climbing for an even more amazing view

Lake Humantay leaving Cusco with Guia Pablo - The path to Lake Humantay is challenging, but every step pays off when you get to the top. We were lucky to have Pablo as a guide, and he was just amazing! During the climb, he accompanied us with patience, always attentive and helpful. Me and my friend, of course, we stayed last (why will it be, huh? 😂) and, even after he recommended several times that we catch a horse from the beginning, only in the half we had to beg for one. Pablo calmly arranged an extra horse and took care of everything with great professionalism. Up there, he gave us time to enjoy the moment, told the history of the lake and even turned out to be a great photographer — recording beautiful memories. The view is surreal: the contrast of the mountains with the turquoise water is breathtaking. The climate is cold, but the feeling of accomplishment of getting there warms the heart. I highly recommend the experience and especially the guide Pablo, which made everything even more special. The next day, we found him again in Mount 7 Colors and the care was the same: he offered us flowering water and, with affection, always asked: “Girls, how are you?” These gestures made all the difference. An unforgettable memory! 🙌✨

Very well worth it - All quite organized and clear! The guide was also very friendly and attentive! The rise to the lake is very challenging, but it was worth it. The whole family was pleased.

Wonderful place. Guide note 10 - The place is unique and wonderful. There is nothing the same in the world. Wilfredo was a dedicated guide, accompanied the whole group with great responsibility. It's a guide and person score 10. I was with mine and my 18-year-old daughter. Requires good physical preparation.

The landscape the best - The landscape of the lagoon, worth the whole trip, the climb can be hard for people who are not used to this tipp of hikes, so I would recommend to take horses, if not on foot, the guide well, although on the climb went with the horses and those standing left us alone, the worst of the trip the transport back, car without air conditioning and long trip, it looked like a sauna, also lost to the one back, which lengthened the trip even more.

Not the best alternative to visit Humantay Lake - This trip's only saving grace is that Humantay Lake is absolutely mesmerizing. First off they will not pick you up from your hotel or leave you at your hotel. Then they will cram the bus until everyone doesn't even fit comfortably (unlike all the other tours that avoid this by limiting group numbers), this is a problem because tour buses all drive fast to get to their destinations as soon as possible. Then we go to the breakfast that if you were not quick enough you wouldn't even have enough for a plate (not including that they will pressure you to eat fast). After that you head straight to the site of the lake crammed in the bus. Once there you will be given the option to take a horse up to the lake for 80 soles which they can arbitrarily decide that they will charge more because 80 soles is a "special price" and if you don't like it than walk even though they were the ones that established the price in description they give you via message (Also if you for some reason don't agree with the price change of the horse "that's a you problem" and you can just walk if you're not willing to fork out the cash). The money grab tactics with the horse were just the start because after you are back for lunch they won't even provide water to have with the food. And after you're done to add insult to injury they won't even turn on the AC after the trip in the ride back unless multiple people ask for it. Truly it was a dissapointing dynamic to what was otherwise a beautiful place to visit in Peru.
