- Pisac - Pisac is an ancient Inca city that served as a significant administrative center. An ancient Inca trail connects Pisac with Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Pisac also boasts the largest Inca cemetery, which still contains mummies from Inca times. The city was considered sacred because it is situated on a mountain shaped like a condor.
- Urubamba - Urubamba is regarded as the main city in the Sacred Valley of the Incas due to its pleasant weather and excellent location in the lower part of the valley. In Urubamba, there will be a stop for lunch before continuing the journey.
- Ollantaytambo - Ollantaytambo is known as the living Inca city. This small town still has houses from Inca times, which are still inhabited by local families and passed down through generations. Ollantaytambo also features an ancient Inca temple located atop a mountain, which requires climbing 400 stairs. It is also historically significant as the site of the last battle between the Incas, led by Manco Inca, and the Spaniards, led by the Pizarro brothers.
