• At 2:00 PM, you will be picked up from the hotel for a city tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) for a 45-minute guided tour, followed by a short drive.
• After a 30-minute drive, you will arrive at Sacsayhuaman (Quechua for “Place where the hawk is satiated”) for a 1-hour guided tour.
• Next, visit Qenqo, a ritual center in a rocky outcrop, where you will feel the mysticism upon entering.
• A 15-minute drive will take you to PucaPucara (Red Fort), a military construction.
• The final stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water rituals were performed. The tour concludes with a return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 PM.
- Sacred Valley - DAY 2: CUSCO TO SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS - AGUAS CALIENTES (MACHU PICCHU)
• The tour begins at 8:00 AM with a hotel pick-up. After a 1.5-hour drive, you will reach the ruins of Pisaq for a 1-hour guided tour.
• Traveling along the Willka Mayu River, you will arrive in Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, for a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean cuisine.
• After lunch, a 30-minute drive will take you to Ollantaytambo to explore the archaeological site, including the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, Princess Baths, and Andean terraces, during a 1-hour guided tour.
• Following the tour, you will head to the train station to board a train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night in preparation for the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu.
- Machu Picchu - DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU
• Early in the morning, you will take a bus to the Lost City of the Incas (Machu Picchu), a 30-minute journey where a guide will be waiting.
• Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu citadel, you will present your entry ticket and begin a 2.5-hour guided tour, learning about the history of Machu Picchu, followed by free time.
• Afterward, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch.
• Post-lunch, you will head to the train station to board a train back to Ollantaytambo.
• At Ollantaytambo station, a Chullos Travel Peru representative will meet you with a sign displaying your name and assist with your transfer back to Cusco and to your hotel.
- Humantay Lake - DAY 4: HUMANTAY LAKE
At 4:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel and travel to Mollepata for breakfast.
The tour continues to Soraypampa, where a 1.5-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon, situated at 4,250 meters above sea level, begins. Along the way, enjoy the local flora and fauna.
After descending to Soraypampa, you will take a drive back to Mollepata for a delicious lunch before returning to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.
- Vinicunca Mountain - DAY 5: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
• At 4:00 AM, the pick-up of passengers from various accommodations begins.
• By 4:45 AM, the journey to the Cusipata district commences. At 6:30 AM, you will arrive in Cusipata for a 30-minute buffet breakfast before continuing the trip.
• At 7:00 AM, depart from the restaurant, arriving at the trailhead around 8:00 AM to start the hike to the Rainbow Mountain (Winicunca).
• The hike takes approximately 1.5 hours each way, with a 40-minute visit at the mountain.
• The return hike takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to the transport. By 12:00 PM, the group will begin the return to Cusipata.
• At 1:00 PM, arrive at the restaurant for a 30-40 minute buffet lunch.
• At 1:40 PM, return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 3:30 PM.
- Q’eswachaka Rope Bridge - DAY 6: INCA BRIDGE OF Q’ESWACHAKA
• The day starts with a 7:00 AM hotel pick-up. After nearly two hours of travel south of Cusco, visit the four lagoons.
• Enjoy a peaceful moment near the lagoons before visiting the small Pabellones volcano near Yanaoca.
• Next, arrive at the impressive Inca bridge, a suspension bridge made of vegetable fiber (Ichu) over the Apurimac River in Quehue district.
• The bridge has existed since the Inca era, with annual renovations and maintenance by local communities. An offering is made before renovations as a sign of respect and gratitude to Pachamama.
• Experience crossing the Inca bridge from both sides, requiring courage despite its appearance.
• Return to Cusco.
