Authentic and delicious experience in Cusco - We had an excellent experience with chef Mauricio. Before the class, we made a visit to the municipal market to buy the ingredients, which was very interesting and already gave a great context about the local products and the habits of the city. The place of the class is very nice and well organized. The chef is excellent — in addition to cooking very well, explains everything clearly and brings a lot of context about Peruvian culture and the history of dishes. The food was delicious. I highly recommend for those who want to know the local cuisine in a practical and authentic way.

Market/cooking class - This was an amazing experience. First of all the market was huge and I loved Igor we got to try samples of certain foods. Going back to take a cooking class was not only fun, but I got to interact with so many people and as well learn recipes that I won’t soon forget. I highly recommend this activity.

Great way to learn about Peruvian culture - I love to take a cooking class when traveling! It’s a great way to gain a deeper appreciation for the food and culture of a country. Class with Mauricio was an absolute treat! He has been teaching cooking in Cusco for 17 years. His experience, knowledge and passion truly shine! We started in the San Pedro market, which was an experience, despite the tourist influence over time. Then to the real business of cooking! We made passion fruit Pisco sours, 3 types of ceviche with fish and also a mango version for those who didn’t want to eat “uncooked “ fish (aka my husband). In all we plated and ate a delicious 4 course meal. We all had a blast, made new friends and learned a ton about Peruvian history and culture. I couldn’t have had a better experience! The real praise? Both my 15 yo daughter AND my husband (the tough critic) loved it!!

A must do experience in Cusco - Taking a cooking class with Dael in Cusco was truly one of my favorite travel experiences ever. I happened to be the only participant that day, yet Dael showed up with 100% energy, passion, and generosity— it made the experience feel even more special. We began with a walk through San Pedro Market, where Dael shared the history, culture, and stories behind local ingredients and Peruvian cuisine. His depth of knowledge is incredible, and he has a gift for teaching in a way that’s engaging, approachable, and meaningful. Back at the studio, we prepared absolutely amazing dishes, but what stood out just as much was the human connection. Dael isn’t just an exceptional educator—he’s a genuinely wonderful person to talk with, learn from, and spend time around. This experience is a memory I will cherish for life, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly to anyone visiting Cusco.

Relaxing and knowledgeable experience - Dael was an awesome chef and provided great knowledge on the cuisine and gastronomy of Cusco. I was the only one that attended the session so it felt very intimate which I appreciated. We had great conversations about his passion of cooking and the service industry lifestyle. I also learned alot about different ways to cut and prepare typical peruvian dishes! All of them were delicious and very filling

Highly recommend it, you won't regret it! - I highly recommend the experience - it was way higher, beyond my expectation and it's totally worth it! We met with Dael and he explained to us in great details on many things in the San Pedro Market, we then went to prepare a full course meal including passionfruit pisco sour, 3 different types of ceviche, Cream of mashua olluco and Rocoto stuffed with potato gratin and garden salad, lastly ended with lovely fruits and desserts. We greatly enjoyed the experience, learnt so much from him! Highly highly recommend it
