Qorikancha - Cusco, the capital of the Incas in South America, still houses temple shrines that offer an extraordinary experience, with architecture that surpasses human expectations. The first stop is the golden shrine of the Incas, Qorikancha.
Sacsayhuaman - Upon arrival at this archaeological site, a guided tour through the complex is provided.
Quenqo Chico - This area is smaller than Sacsayhuaman, but some figures carved into the rocks are immediately noticeable.
Puka Pukara Archaeological Complex - Next, the tour visits the Puka Pucara archaeological center, which takes about 10 minutes. This area serves various purposes, primarily military, offering the best panoramic view of the Cusco valley.
Tambomachay - Following this, the tour proceeds to Tambomachay, located at an altitude of 3800 meters above sea level, marking the highest point of the tour. After this activity, the tour returns to Cusco, with the journey back taking only 15 minutes.
Sacred Valley and Maras Moray
Sacred Valley of the Incas - This part of the tour connects with the Inca culture, its people, textiles, and cities that still exist in South America. Visitors learn about the pink salt of the Incas and the breathtaking landscapes that served as a link to Machu Picchu. The last Inca cemetery is also visible, offering a magnificent cultural experience.
Chinchero - Situated at 3800 meters above sea level, Chinchero is the highest point of the tour. Here, visitors explore the area where the palace of the Inca king Tupac Inca Yupanqui was located and visit a textile workshop.
Moray - The tour then proceeds to Moray, known as the agricultural laboratory of the Incas, followed by a visit to the Maras salt mines, a natural formation where salt extraction is observed.
Ollantaytambo - After lunch, the tour visits the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo, another Inca city.
Pisac - The next stop is Pisaq (Inca City), home to an Inca cemetery. Finally, the tour visits the colonial town of Pisac to see silverworks before returning to the city of Cusco.
