Q’enqo - Qenqo, also known as Kenko, is derived from the Quechua word (Q’inqu) meaning ‘labyrinth’. This name refers to the underground galleries and zigzag channels on stone, named by the Spanish post-conquest. The original Inca name remains unknown.
Complejo Arqueologico Pukapukara - Puca Pucara, meaning “Red Fortress” in Quechua, is named for the red hue the rocks take on at twilight. It exemplifies military architecture and served as an administrative center, featuring platforms, terraces, stairs, and passages.
