Great Cuzco Experience - We had such a fantastic experience at this chocolate-making class in Cusco. Honestly, it was so much better than expected. We learned so much about the history of chocolate in South America, from its ancient roots to how it’s prepared today, and it was presented in a way that was fun, engaging, and truly interactive. Miguel was incredible! He was so knowledgeable, fun, and genuinely connecting. He made the experience feel personal and alive, not like a typical tourist activity. My husband, our friend, and I were all completely engaged the whole time and had an absolute blast. If you’re in Cusco and even slightly interested in chocolate or cultural history, don’t miss this. One of our favorite experiences of the trip!

Excellent workshop - This was an excellent workshop and a lovely way to spend a couple hours learning about the chocolate making process. It was great fun, very relaxed and even better was making the different flavours of chocolates to take home with you. Thoroughly recommend this workshop.

Fun, low stress partial day activity - A fun hands-on experience! It was a nice small group experience. Our teacher was enthusiastic and amusing as we went through the process of selecting, roasting and grinding our beans. We also spent some time sampling different types of chocolates made from beans grown from different areas of Peru- it was fascinating to taste the difference! At the end of class, we have our own chocolate to take home. It was nice low-key couple of hours.

Fantastic activity for teens! - The class includes interesting cultural and historical background well mixed in with lots of hands on fun! We came in exhausted after a 15hour overnight flight and needed an afternoon activity to engage the tired teens - this totally fit the bill. We learned, we laughed, and in the other reviews I haven’t seen enough people mention just how DELICIOUS the chocolate is from the Chocomuseo!

Chocolate experience in Cusco - This was a great and fun experience with Yil. He used humor to explain the entire process of harvesting the cacao bean to making chocolate. Well worth taking a look at if you are a chocolate pan!

Excellent - Amazing experience. We really enjoyed it. We learned new things because the young man who led the cooking class was excellent and explained a lot about cacao and chocolate. He also had a great sense of humor. Definitely worth visiting.

Fun family activity, expected a little more - Overall, a fun experience, learning how chocolate is made - including roasting, peeling, grinding beans. We got to make chocolate to take home with us and enjoyed hit chocolate from the cocoa paste we created. The instructor was very good; he could have been a bit more engaging and knowledgeable. There are two locations - and it wasn’t clear where to go (they said they sent instructions but we never received that). Also, although advertised as 2 hours, it was just under 1.5 hours.
