At 2:00 pm, you will be picked up from the hotel for the City tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) for a 45-minute guided tour, followed by a 30-minute drive to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”). Next, visit Qenqo (Ritual Center on a rocky outcrop), a place of great mysticism felt upon entering the outcropping rock. After a 15-minute drive, arrive at PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction. The final stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water worship was practiced. After the tour, return to Cusco, with an estimated arrival time of 7:00 pm.
