PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT - CITY TOUR

Cusco Airport Transport - A representative from Chullos Travel Peru will be awaiting your arrival at the airport to transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a free morning to rest and acclimate.

Qorikancha - At 2:00 pm, meet at the main square to begin the tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) for a 45-minute guided tour, followed by a 30-minute drive to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”). Next, visit Qenqo (Ritual Center on a rocky outcrop), a place of great mysticism. After a 15-minute drive, arrive at PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction. The last stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water worship took place. Return to Cusco around 7:00 pm.

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS - AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley of the Incas - We will pick you up from the hotel at 8:00 am to start the tour of the Sacred Valley. After a 1.5-hour drive, we will arrive at the archaeological site of Pisaq for a 1-hour guided tour. Following the Willkamayu River, we will reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, for a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean food. After lunch, a 30-minute drive will take us to Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site, including the Temple of the Sun, The Intihuatana, and the Princess Baths and Andean terraces, with a 1-hour guided tour. Then, we will head to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night. In the evening, the guide will visit the hotel to provide details for your visit to Machu Picchu.

LOST CITY OF THE INKAS MACHUPICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Early in the morning, we will take the bus to the lost city of the Incas (Machu Picchu) for a 2.5-hour guided tour. Afterward, you will have free time in Aguas Calientes for lunch. We will then head to the train station to return to Ollantaytambo, where a representative from Chullos Travel will meet us and transfer us back to Cusco and your hotel. “Machu Picchu tickets are subject to availability, with the Ministry of Culture of Peru being the only authorized seller. Tickets will be purchased based on available circuits (1 and 2). Other circuits may be available for an additional charge. If no tickets are available, you will receive a full refund of your tour package.”

MARAS-MORAY

Salinas de Maras - The tour begins with an 8:00 am pick-up from the hotel to visit the town of Maras. After passing through Maras, we will go to Moray, an agricultural laboratory considered a magnetic center of Pachamama, for a 40-minute guided tour. Next, a 30-minute drive will take us to the salt mines “salineras” for a 1-hour guided tour and shopping for salt or souvenirs. We will return to Cusco, arriving around 3:00 pm.

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Vinicunca Mountain - At 4:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to the district of CUSIPATA. At 6:30 am, we will have a 30-minute buffet breakfast in CUSIPATA before continuing to WASIPATA. At 8:00 am, we will start the trek to the MOUNTAIN OF COLORS (WINICUNCA), which takes about 1.5 hours. After a 40-minute visit, we will return to the starting point in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. At 12:00 pm, we will begin our return to CUSIPATA for a buffet lunch, then head back to Cusco, arriving around 5:30 pm.

HUMANTAY LAKE

Humantay Lake - At 4:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and travel to Mollepata for breakfast. We will then continue to Soraypampa to start a 1.5-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon at 4,250 meters above sea level, where we will enjoy the local flora and fauna. After descending to Soraypampa, we will return to Mollepata for lunch and then head back to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 pm.

Plaza de Armas - Enjoy a free morning to relax, depending on your flight time. Alternatively, you can opt for an additional tour focused on Peruvian gastronomy and the preparation of pisco sour.
