AIRPORT PICK-UP - CITY TOUR

Sacsayhuaman - A representative from Chullos Travel Peru will be eagerly awaiting your arrival at the airport to facilitate your transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a free morning to relax and acclimate. At 2:00 pm, you will be picked up from the hotel for the City tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), where you will have a 45-minute guided tour before proceeding to the next location. After a 30-minute drive, you will arrive at Sacsayhuaman (from the Quechua words Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”). Next, visit Qenqo (Ritual Center on a rocky outcrop), a place filled with mysticism that you will feel upon entering the outcropping Rock. After a 15-minute drive, you will reach PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction. The final stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water rituals were performed. After the tour, you will return to Cusco, with an estimated arrival time of 7:00 pm.

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS - AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley of the Incas - The tour begins at 8:00 am with a pick-up from the hotel to explore the sacred valley. After a 1.5-hour drive, you will arrive at the archaeological site of Pisaq for a guided tour lasting approximately 1 hour.

Traveling along the Willkamayu River, also known as the sacred river, you will reach Urubamba, the capital of the sacred valley, where a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean cuisine will be served. Following lunch, a 30-minute drive will take you to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site, where a 1-hour guided tour will highlight the Temple of the Sun, The Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces. Afterward, you will proceed to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night in preparation for the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu. (In the evening, the guide will visit the hotel to provide all the details for your Machu Picchu visit.)

LOST CITY OF THE INCAS MACHU PICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - An early morning start will see you boarding the bus to the Machu Picchu ruins. The guided tour duration will depend on the type of entry ticket. After the tour, return to the village for lunch. You will have free time before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo and then a bus to Cusco. Arrival time will depend on the train schedule.

MARAS-MORAY

Salinas de Maras - The tour begins with an 8:00 am pick-up from the hotel to travel to the town of Maras. After passing through Maras, you will head to Moray, where the agricultural laboratory is located, considered a magnetic center of the Pachamama. A 40-minute guided tour will be provided.

Following the Moray tour, a 30-minute drive will take you to the salt mines “salineras,” where you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 1 hour and have time to shop for bags of salt or souvenirs. The return journey to Cusco follows the same route, with an estimated arrival time of 3:00 pm.

HUMANTAY LAKE

Humantay Lake - At 4:00 am, you will be picked up from the hotel to travel to the town of Mollepata for breakfast. The tour continues to Soraypampa, where a 1 hour and 30-minute walk to the Humantay Lagoon begins. The lagoon is situated at an altitude of 4,250 meters above sea level, and along the way, you will appreciate the local flora and fauna. After descending to Soraypampa, you will take the transport back to Mollepata for a delicious lunch before returning to Cusco, with an approximate arrival time of 6:00 pm.
