PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT - CITY TOUR

Plaza de Armas - A representative from Chullos Travel Peru will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a free morning to rest and acclimate. At 2:00 pm, you’ll be picked up from the hotel for a city tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) for a 45-minute guided tour, followed by a 30-minute drive to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”). Next, visit Qenqo (a ritual center on a rocky outcrop), a place filled with mysticism that you’ll feel upon entering the rock formation. After a 15-minute drive, we’ll arrive at PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction. The last stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water worship took place. After the tour, we’ll return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm.

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS - AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley of the Incas - We’ll pick you up from the hotel at 8:00 am to start the tour of the Sacred Valley. After a 1.5-hour drive, we’ll arrive at the archaeological site of Pisaq for a guided tour of approximately 1 hour. Following the Willka Mayu River (Sacred River), we’ll reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean food. After lunch, we’ll drive for 30 minutes to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit its archaeological site, including a 1-hour guided tour of the Temple of the Sun, The Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces. Then, we’ll head to the train station to board a train to Aguas Calientes, where we’ll spend the night. In the evening, your guide will visit your hotel to provide all the details for your visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

LOST CITY OF THE INKAS MACHUPICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Early in the morning, we’ll take a bus to the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu, for a 2.5-hour guided tour. Afterward, you’ll have free time in Aguas Calientes for lunch. Then, we’ll head to the train station to return to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, a representative from Chullos Travel will meet you with a sign bearing your name and transfer you back to Cusco and your hotel. “Machu Picchu tickets are subject to availability, with the Ministry of Culture of Peru being the only authorized seller. Tickets will be purchased based on available circuits (1 and 2). Other circuits may be available for an additional charge. If no tickets are available, you will receive a full refund of your tour package.”

MARAS-MORAY

Salinas de Maras - The tour begins with an 8:00 am pick-up from your hotel to visit the town of Maras. After passing through Maras, we’ll head to Moray, home to an agricultural laboratory considered a magnetic center of Pachamama, for a 40-minute guided tour. Afterward, we’ll drive for 30 minutes to the salt mines “salineras” for a 1-hour guided tour, with time for shopping for salt or souvenirs. We’ll return to Cusco via the same route, arriving at approximately 3:00 pm.
