AIRPORT PICK-UP AND CITY TOURS

Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport - Upon your arrival at Cusco airport, our team will be there to greet you with a sign displaying the name of the lead traveler. We will escort you to your hotel for check-in, where you can leave your luggage and freshen up. (We recommend arriving in Cusco in the morning. If this is not possible, the city tour will be adjusted throughout the day or deducted from the price if it cannot be conducted.)

Qorikancha - At 12:45 pm, the tour will commence with a visit to QoriKancha. Inside, you will find small temples dedicated to the sun, moon, and stars, all retaining their original stone foundations. The exterior features gardens and fountains on the grounds of the Temple of the Sun.

Sacsayhuaman - Here, you will witness the massive carved rocks, where the precise cutting and placement of the blocks are remarkable. It consists of three superimposed platforms that overlook the city of Cusco, complemented by the stunning landscape of the surrounding mountains.

Q’enco Archaeological Complex - This site was an Inca ceremonial center carved into rock. On top of the rock, there are zigzag channels, and inside, small trapezoidal niches.

Puka Pukara - Puka Pukara is believed to be a military construction featuring stairways, terraces, and large walls, forming part of the defense system of the empire’s capital.

Tambomachay - Here, you can admire aqueducts and water sources from nearby springs. It is one of the finest examples of Inca hydraulic engineering and served as a center for water worship.

JOURNEY TO THE ENCHANTING MACHU PICCHU

Cusco - We will collect you from your hotel at 5 am to head to the Ollantaytambo train station, passing through the picturesque landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Once aboard the train, you will travel towards “Aguas Calientes.”

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Our guide will meet you in the town of Machu Picchu to proceed to the bus station, which will take us to the entrance of the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Explore the Inca citadel with your guide, walking through the main altars, streets, and platforms, and learn about the history, culture, and architecture of this magnificent site. Don’t forget to capture the classic photo from the highest point.

Aguas Calientes - After the guided tour inside the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu, you will take our bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where there will be ample time for lunch. Then, we will head to the Aguas Calientes train station to return to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, our transfer will be ready to take you back to Cusco, concluding our tour at your hotel.
