Great tour, but too little time at each location - The tour was well-organized and allowed us to see stunning locations in the Sacred Valley, Moray, and the salt mines. Our guide, Warner, was fantastic—very knowledgeable, friendly, and full of interesting information.
The only downside was that we had only about 20 minutes at each stop, which wasn’t enough to fully enjoy and explore the sites. We would have loved a bit more time for sightseeing and taking photos.
Overall, if you’re looking for a quick overview of these incredible places and have limited time, this tour is a great choice!

Wonderful excursions - My family just returned from nine days with Chullos travel. Nothing was overlooked: he received a welcome at the airport, transfers to the hotel and excursions, complemented by local knowledge and recommendations. We upgraded by a few hundred dollars to the best hotel package and our accommodations were very nice, including a stay in a 300 year old monastery on our way to Machu Picchu. I tried to contact Condor Travel with a question while I was in Lima, and I couldn’t get through. When I asked our guide, she said we should have kept trying. Overall, although excellent.

Great guides but poor communication from office - As a solo traveler I specifically looked for a group tour. I was under the impression that there would be one guide that would be with the group the entire time but that couldn't have been more wrong. Christian was the guide four our Cusco city tour and was also the guide for the 5 sites along the way from Cusco city to Ollantaytambo. Christian was awesome...very knowledgeable and great communication skills in both English and Spanish. At Ollantaytamo we boarded the train to Aqua Calientes. Unfortunately, each of us had assigned seats in different train cars. Train and later bus tickets were issued via Whats app and typically not issued until mid-day. For me this was an issue I didn't get messages or tickets for the train or bus unless I was in wifi, so while others got their tickets I had to ask others if they got their tickets and then find a network to connect to in order to get mine. Why they couldn't be issued early in the day, while we still had wifi in the hotel is beyond me.
In Aqua Calientes we were met by another guide and taken to the hotel where I found I was to meet yet a different guide for my Machu Picchu tour. It turned out I was the only one of our original group that asked for an English tour guide so this made sense and Edwin, my English guide was also very knowledgeable and excellent. On our return back to Aqua Calientes after coming down from Machu Picchu we were supposed to regroup for lunch, but again, no communication was provided to me in a timely way so I had no idea as to where lunch would be or what time I was to be there and had to find wifi and send a message to George, the guide that took the spanish group what the plan was.
Our travels back to Cusco city were equally hectic. We made our own ways to the train (again, we were not in the same train cars) back to Ollantaytambo, where we were assigned to specific buses (again, not all of us to the same bus) and dropped off supposedly "near" the main plaza in Cusco city. When I finally found my own way back to the hotel and was able to access Whats app I found that there were a number of concerning messages from someone who was supposed to guide me from the train to the bus and from another person who was supposed to meet me at the bus and guide me back to the hotel. I had no knowledge that I should expect to meet anyone at either of these junctures and felt badly that they worried that I'd missed the train or had not made it to the bus. Again, why not, communicate in the early morning that we should be on the lookout for someone to help guide us from place to place. Had I not had extensive experience traveling throughout foreign countries this could have been disasterous. As it was as a first time solo traveler it was a bit unnerving. Though I meet lots of very nice people, it would have been nice to have the continuity of the group on the bus and train. The take aways from this is that Chullos needs to up their game in communicating with guests, as a solo traveler be aware that you may truly be traveling solo for much of the trip even though you think you'll be making connections with others over several days and lastly, if I had known that communications would come so piecemeal I would have made arrangements with my phone carrier for a different travel plan but once I was in Peru and realized how Chullos was functioning I was unable to make those changes with my phone carrier.
