Machu Picchu - Cusco
Machu Picchu - The Inca Path Peru team will greet you early with your choice of hot beverages. There will be time to pack duffel bags and day packs and enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast. A short 5-minute walk to the bus station ensures being among the first to ascend to Machu Picchu.
The first buses leave at 5:30 a.m. and arrive around 6:00 a.m. Remember to bring the original passport for the checkpoint. The guide will lead you to the perfect spot to witness the sunrise over the mountains and capture stunning photos.
After sunrise, enjoy a two-hour private walking tour of Machu Picchu, exploring the citadel and learning its captivating history (guided tour around 2.5 hrs) Circuit 3.
Return to Aguas Calientes and Train Journey
Ensure to catch the bus back to Aguas Calientes at least 2 hours before the train departure. This allows time for lunch (not included) and boarding the train to Ollantaytambo.
