Great family trip to La Leona waterfall - Awesome hike to waterfall- amazing experience! Our guide, Jeremy, was great. Loved this trip- you can swim up to a waterfall.

Exhilarating! - We did both the waterfall hike and the River tubing, and would highly recommend both. Our guide on the waterfall hike, Rommy, was knowledgeable about the flora and fauna within the area and shared interesting tidbits, was deftly able to manage our group which consisted of both experienced and novice hikers, and provide necessary support to each of us as needed. The waterfall was spectacular! The tubing experience was equally exhilarating and our guides (Olman, Richard, and Luis) worked hard to both ensure our safety and provide us with the excitement of tubing through rapids. We would do both the hike and tubing again in a heartbeat!

This was the highlight of... - This was the highlight of our trip! We booked an early time slot, and I'm glad we did. There can be lines at the waterfall, but our guides knew this and got us there quickly, so we didn't have to wait. We had a variety of ages with us (7-75), and the guides made sure to keep everyone safe and show attention when needed. We would absolutely do this again!

Rony and his team were... - Rony and his team were great. Very friendly and patient. They know their job. La Leona waterfall is a majestic experience. The tubing is fun and the hike is challenging but not extreme

Awesome!! - We had an awesome time! The hike to the waterfall was super fun and exciting as we got to swim through the river a few times. The waterfall was incredible. After a quick snack break we went tubing. The guides worked really hard to make sure we were all safe and having fun. We had four kids, ages 10-13, and they loved this adventure. One tip: Wear sneakers you don’t care about - they will get soaked!

The Must Do Experience! - We had such an incredible time on this tour. The waterfall hike was unmatched to anything else we experienced on our Costa Rica visit. Ronnie our guide was great!! He has so much knowledge about the forest and plants and made it really fun. My 10 year old daughter was a little nervous but he helped calmed her fears. We loved being able to swim around the waterfall and yes all four in my family made the jump at the beginning and we did the natural slide. The tubing adventure was fun as well. We were the only ones on that part of the river at that time so that made it really cool. The three guides with us, Ronnie, Diego and (not sure of the other’s name) worked their tails off to make sure we didn’t get stuck and that my little had extra attention. I would 100% recommend this experience!! Pura Vida!!
