Best Experience!! - Excellent service and great price! Our tour guide Verny was AMAZING!!! He picked us up on time in the morning and explained the details of we should expect from the tour. He was such a knowledgeable person and taught us a lot about the history and wild life of Costa Rica. He took lots of great photos from us made this day trip such a memorable experience! He also picked a pineapple in our way to the waterfall and cut it for us after the long hike! Highly recommend this group and specially Verny! Thank you so much!

Love La Leona - This tour was amazing! Verny was a great tour guide. He made sure we were safe but also had lots of fun. His love and knowledge of nature added so much to the tour. He also made sure we had a taste of Costa Rica along the way. Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience - My family of 3 took the private tour of La Lenora waterfall and it was the highlight of our trip! Our guide, Verny, was fantastic. There wasn’t a question on flora, fauna or Costa Rica in general he couldn’t answer! And more importantly he was so much fun to spend time with. The hike and waterfall itself were beautiful. For those who were wondering like we were, the excursion is a bit physical. The “stairs” down to the river are steep, there is a little bit of scrambling and you need to fight a bit of a current to get to the actual waterfall. We loved it! Also, you wear your shoes into the water - but definitely make them sneakers, water shoes will have you slipping and would be terrible on the actual hike!

A trip not to be missed! - The trip was excellent! Verny picked us up at the hotel lobby in a timely manner. He was very courteous and kept us engaged and educated about Costa Rica throughout the trip. He is very well informed and takes great pride in talking about his country. Most importantly he goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are comfortable and well taken care of. The trip included a boat ride where we got an opportunity to see plenty of crocodile, birds and monkeys. We were lucky enough to see a pair of scarlet mackaws, which is a fairly rare sighting. We also got to experience delicious authentic Costa Rican food at a small family owned restaurant and a pottery demonstration by a local potter. These experiences gave us a new appreciation for Costa Rican hospitality and the intricacies of the craft of pottery. He constantly reminded us that our comfort was his priority, and we felt like family at the end of the trip. I highly recommend this tour company for their attention to detail and their consideration for the comfort and satisfaction of their clients.

This is the tour to book when in Costa Rica - La Leona waterfall - Highly recommend - Highly recommend! Anthony and his team did an amazing job from the booking, to communication up until our pickup and all the way through the tour. He is very passionate & knowledgeable about his job and Costa Rica. My wife and I really enjoyed the hike. Highly recommend going to La Leona waterwall with Anthony when in Costa Rica. It felt very safe.

Great hike! - This was by far our favorite excursion during our week in Tamerindo. Our guide (Bernie) was the best! His knowledge of all things Costa Rica, was incredible and he took such good care of us. The hike was just challenging enough to make it fun but not so difficult to feel dangerous. The waterfall was gorgeous and I’m so glad we saw it. It was so hot and the trail crosses the water a few time so it was nice to cool off as we went along.
After the waterfall we stopped at an animal sanctuary where we had a homemade meal and then walked around seeing several sloths (one that was about 3 feet away from us), monkeys, iguanas and many other birds and animals. Bernie took photos of us and for us throughout the trip and then shared them with us afterward.

Truly Amazing Experience!! - It was AMAZING. From start to finish the experience was fun, personal, and our tour guide Berny really connected with us. He got us fresh fruits and taught us all about monkeys and other wildlife, all while taking the most beautiful photos 😻.
We were accompanied by a local tour guide as well, Nacho. He was also amazing, patient with us and respectful.
Fantastic and memorable, we felt like we really got a taste of Costa Rica. Highly recommend. Book with them NOW!!!

Bernie and Jason were... - Bernie and Jason were fantastic tour guides. Very knowledgeable about the area and were able to answer all our questions. The waterfall hike was beyond amazing. Took about 2 hours round trip of hiking and swimming with a nice little rest for some fresh fruits. Would highly recommend this trip for a family with teens

A truly amazing adventure - We were traveling with friends and booked a private tour of La Leona Falls. What an incredible place, and a must see. If you go, request Verny and Derek as your guides.
