A good day in the Lakes District - A perfect way to get around the Lake District with someone knowledgeable of the area and experience on the road. Mark was an excellent tour guide.

Ten lakes tour - It was one of my excellent tour experiences. The time management and our guide/driver, Mark, explaining the importance of the places we were visiting were brilliant.

Spectacular sights of the Lake District - A great day out, with a varied itinerary. The bus was clean and comfortable with a friendly and approachable driver. Only small irritation was the commentary app, needs urgent upgrade.

Fantastic way to see the Lake District! - Tour was fantastic! Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. Just a shame that tour guides can no longer talk while driving, so any questions you'll have to save for the many stops. We visited 10 lakes and some fantastic viewing points! Plenty of photo opportunities.

Mountain Goat - 10 Lakes tour - I went on a full day tour of 10 lakes with Mountain Goat and despite having done it before (and on several occasions too) its a great way to see the Lakes and see lovely scenery and places. Bob was the driver / narrator and accompanied by Tony (I have been on 3 of his tours in the past/ nice to see again) The weather wasnt kind, but here was a nice mix of commentary on board, seeing lovely places including Grasmere, Ashness bridge, Castlerigg stones and a lunch stop in Keswick for 75 mins. The coach is comfortable and the driver is skilled at negotiating all those narrow / steep roads - that's why I like MG tours as I couldn't do it! I would also like to add that I do feel the drivers at the start of the trip should ask all passengers not to use their mobile phones (ie talking on phone) when on the bus and when the driver is talking. Its not respectful to the driver, other passengers and is rude. Its also very distracting if sitting nearby. Luckily this was dealt with and the passenger finally got the message 2nd time round! PS On an aside I'm sorry that the High Adventure tour has changed - it was one I really enjoyed - lovely Langdale Valley, Wrynose and Hardknott Passes and Wast water - the drivers skill was impressive negotaiting those roads I always felt that Muncaster Castle was the weakest link on this tour and a time filling add on I would rather have seen much more of this lovely scenery and part of the Lakes rather than watching flying displays of birds and visiting the castle. Also dont really want to waste time having lunch there. I do hope in the future it will revert back to the "old" tour which was great.

Excellent value, best way to see Lake District - I just finished the Ten Lakes tour with Mountain Goat, and it was honestly such a great value for the price. I've done a lot of traveling, but our guide, Tim, is hands down the best I've ever had. His passion for the Lakes is so obvious, and he’s incredibly knowledgeable. He even gave us a ton of extra tips to help us maximize the rest of our stay. I also have to mention his driving - those narrow, winding roads are pretty intense, but he handled them like a total pro. If you're heading to the Lake District, definitely try to get on a tour with him. Best to also book direct for best price and flexibility

Cheap but not cheerful - I chose this tour because it was cheap. What a mistake! We quickly realised that it was the wrong choice because the tour ws done by a pre-recorded app with a patronising voice. It was dull and then boring and then irritating. Worse of all we were stuck with it all day!! Looking back, I wish I had booked the more expensive tour with another company because they have smaller buses and lovely drivers and guides who are full of knowledge and talk to you and answer all our quedtions (went on 2 tours with them earlier in week). My advice is spend a bit more and get a better experience.

Bad experience not told AI does talking - When I booked this tour, nobody said that the commentary would be AI generated and that the drivers don't talk and drive anymore. The AI was very confusing and said in a monotone which we all found boring. It became tedious after a while as we lost track of where we were and it didn't make any sense. This was not what I thought I was booking - I expected the driver to give us a commentary but they were not allowed to talk or answer any questions. Feel that I was conned into this as nobody said anything about the AI or the drivers. It doesn't say anything about it in the text for the tour either so it is all a bit sneaky. Would not recommend or do again despite the driver being really nice off the bus. The AI really spoiled the whole experience for us.
