A really lovely lake cruise - A really lovely lake cruise with great facts about Coniston along the way. Martin and Ryan were great crew. We used the boat as a “taxi” from Torver to Coniston, while enjoying the benefits of the sights along the way!

A Perfect Private Cruise to Wild Cat Island – Thanks to Martin and Steve! - Our family of four took the last Coniston Launch cruise of the day, the 3:20 pm yellow route to Wild Cat Island, and because it was the final trip, we had the entire boat to ourselves. What a treat! Martin and Steve from Coniston Launch went out of their way to make it a truly memorable experience. As we cruised across the lake, they shared fascinating stories and local tidbits, from Brantwood, the historic home of John Ruskin, to the nearby Omaze house (which Martin, unfortunately, didn’t win!). They even took the time to show us the “secret dock” of Peel Island, the real-life inspiration for Wild Cat Island from Swallows and Amazons. Seeing the secluded harbor that featured in the stories was pure magic. A huge thank you to Martin and Steve for turning a quiet afternoon cruise into one of our favorite Lake District memories. Their enthusiasm and knowledge made all the difference, highly recommended!

Awesome Connistion lake cruise with Conniston Launch. - Nat and Dave were awesome, Dave was very informative, helpfull and humorous at times with his live commentary, Nat's seamanship was awesome mooring the boat so smootly and spot on, and assisting with boarding of reduced mobility passenger. Definately a crew and lake cruise not to be missed. Thank you. Was a pleasure!

Laid back cruise - A lovely cruise on a sunny day. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Spectacular scenery. We travelled in late season so the boat wasn't crowded. Also there had been recent heavy rain and many of the landings were under water so we couldn't hop on/hop off, something to bear in mind if you want to visit Brantwood House. Overall, a very pleasant and affordable way to spend an hour.
