Solvang Visitor Center - Proceed to Solvang, a charming Danish community, and enjoy browsing the local shops.
Cannery Row - After our visit, we head to the town of Carmel, home to actor Clint Eastwood.
17-Mile Drive - Journey north to the renowned Route #1 to experience the breathtaking California coastline up close. (Small vehicles will travel on Route 1 only, while full-size coaches will exclusively use the 17-Mile Drive.)
Take some free time to explore the town before heading to the hotel for an overnight stay.
SAN FRANCISCO – BAY CRUISE – GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE – CHINATOWN
San Francisco City Hall - Today, discover why San Francisco is considered one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Begin the tour with a walk on Lombard Street, followed by a visit to Fisherman’s Wharf, and enjoy a cruise in the iconic bay, passing under the Golden Gate Bridge and around the infamous Alcatraz Island.
Downtown Sausalito - Stroll along the waterfront shops on cobbled sidewalks and soak in the sunshine, sea breeze, and atmosphere.
Twin Peaks - Ascend to the top of Twin Peaks. These two hills rise nearly 1000 feet above the city and are located near its geographical center, offering the best view of San Francisco.
Chinatown - San Francisco’s Chinatown is the oldest in North America, spanning 24 city blocks. This neighborhood is one of San Francisco’s most popular attractions.
SAN FRANCISCO – YOSEMITE
Yosemite Valley - Travel east through the farmlands of the Joaquin Valley to Yosemite National Park. This 1,200-square-mile wonderland of forests, lakes, and waterfalls is situated in the Sierra Nevada. Stop at El Capitan, Bridal-Veil Falls, and Half Dome.
Yosemite Falls - Continue with a walk from the Yosemite Visitor Center to reach Yosemite Falls, one of North America’s highest waterfalls (730 meters).
STEVENSON RANCH – LAS VEGAS
Outlets at Barstow - Today’s route heads east through the desert and Death Valley to reach the world’s gambling capital: Las Vegas. Stop for lunch at the outlet mall in Barstow, featuring famous brand names like Levi’s, Nike, Reebok, Timberland, Ralph Lauren, and more.
The Strip - In the evening, tour the Strip to see some of the incredible hotels and attractions built in the desert, such as Caesar’s Palace, Mirage, Luxor, Paris, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, Treasure Island, and more. Conclude the evening at one of the many shows or try your luck at the casinos; perhaps fortune will favor you tonight.
LAS VEGAS – GRAND CANYON – PAGE
Grand Canyon National Park - Begin the day traveling southeast through the desert and the Navajo Indian reservation to reach the South Rim of “One of the 7 Wonders of the World,” the Grand Canyon. Tour along the south rim and learn how the Colorado River carved its path to the sea over the years, creating a geological wonderland. After lunch, continue along the canyon east, stopping at various Indian marketplaces to explore handmade arts and crafts.
Grand Canyon Desert View Watchtower - An extraordinary stone tower designed by Mary Colter, inspired by Ancestral Puebloan towers. Observe the Colorado River turning north and the Painted Desert stretching towards Navajo and Hopi Indian lands.
Grand Canyon Visitor Center South Rim - Located across the plaza from the Visitor Center, offering books and a variety of Grand Canyon gifts.
ANTELOPE CANYON – BRYCE CANYON
Antelope Canyon - Start the day where “The water runs through the rocks,” according to local Navajo folklore. Tour the lower Antelope Canyon and witness the stunning dunes shaped by wind, water, and sand; words cannot fully capture these formations crafted by Mother Nature. After the tour, depart this remarkable area and head west to Bryce Canyon, home to some of the world’s most incredible natural sculptures.
Bryce Canyon National Park - The tour will showcase amazing rock and sand sculptures, perfected over thousands of years by rain, wind, and sunshine.
Experience the unique color changes during sunset from one of the park’s vista points (subject to change due to varying sunset times). After the visit, proceed to the town of Kanab.
On certain departures, the tour will continue to Cedar City.
ZION PARK – LAS VEGAS – LOS ANGELES
Zion National Park - Named by the Mormons who settled in the area, the park is said to offer a religious-like experience, with the majestic mountains and serene wilderness transporting visitors to another realm. Tour the park and enjoy a short walking trail along the Virgin River that flows through the park, before departing this incredible area for an early evening arrival in Las Vegas, with an option for a late-night return to Los Angeles.
