Cuenca tour - November 2, 2025 - Phenomenal tour led by Andres. Extremely knowledgeable and personable during the entire tour. Although the trip in and around Cuenca was great and highly recommended, the stop off for the wine tasting at Altomira was beyond exceptional as were the owners, This is a must tour if you are in Madrid and are looking for a full day activity close by. Andres gets 10 stars, not 5!!

Super recommended - Andres was super attentive and a great guide. The best thing was to coincide with a festivity in Cuenca. And very good artisan wines.

This was truly one of the... - This was truly one of the best tours I’ve experienced! Our guide, Andrés, was fantastic — knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly helpful. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had the best time possible. The places we visited felt more “off the beaten path.” The city of Cuenca was absolutely stunning — full of history and beautiful architecture, yet without the heavy crowds of tourists. It felt like discovering a hidden gem. The vineyard stop at the end was another highlight. Enrique was a wonderful host, and it’s clear how much love and thought he’s poured into building his vineyard from the ground up. The wine was incredible! TIP!!! Bring cash if you’d like to purchase a bottle to take home. I highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in Madrid who wants a unique, authentic, and unforgettable experience.

Great experience, so much fun! - We had soooo much fun! It was an increíble trip! Our guide was Andrés! He is an amazing tour guide, kind, fun and knowledgable!! It was a pleasure to enjoy the day with him and we were lucky to have a great group of people to share this adventure! We are also thankful for Enrique at the Vineyard! His wines are so good and he was a nice host! Thanks for this wonderful tour! Note: If you are on a bigger size asked the company for what car they will use. It is literally a car.

He made the 6 strangers in his car a bunch of instant friends! Cuenca is a quaint town with great history. It was great to see and not crowded. We enjoyed it cery much and then the super unique wine tasting experience was the cherry on top of this trip! Highly recommend it for wine enthusiasts. All in all it was a fabulous albeit long day!

Tour was amazing would... - Tour was amazing would give 5 star but the transportation was a small size suv and if there was more than the 3 of us it would have been too crowded. Our tour guide was great and the winery owner is an amazing man we had a wonderful time visiting with him.

Basin a small and charming town - Its historic center, built among rocks, conveys an atmosphere collected with living history.
There are few crowds, which is a great advantage if you are looking to get to know without the typical crowds of very tourist destinations. The tour took place in a small group, allowing for a personalized experience, with a leisurely pace and enough breaks to enjoy quietly. It was remarkable how attentive the guide was to each person in the group. The small and rustic vineyard, attended warmly and closely by its owner, who is quite a character. However, I personally noticed that a little more guided explanation about the vineyard, grape types or production process was lacking; a more structured visit would have been ideal. As for the general organization, there was one drawback: on two occasions I was informed of possible cancellations of the tour. Fortunately, we finally made the visit as planned—a pleasant surprise, but the communication was confusing.
Overall, an authentic experience that combines history, wine and tranquility. Ideal if you value contact with the local and a relaxed Mood. With better pre-organization and some more informative content in the cellar, it would have been almost perfect.
