Lao Cai - Sapa - Ta Van - Y Linh Ho (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Notre Dame Cathedral - Travelers embark on a night train from Hanoi to Lao Cai railway station, arriving around 5:40 am. Upon arrival, they are picked up for an hour-long drive uphill in a shared minivan to Sapa. Breakfast is served at the hotel around 7:30 am, where guests can also freshen up. Luggage can be stored at the hotel, with only essentials needed for the homestay. Guests will return to the hotel on the final day to collect their luggage and enjoy dinner before heading back to Hanoi.
Muong Hoa Valley - At approximately 9:30 am, the group begins their trekking adventure. The journey starts on the main road heading south for about an hour before veering right onto a footpath descending into Muong Hoa Valley. This section offers breathtaking views of the highest part of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, and on a clear day, Fansipan peak is visible.
Y Linh Ho - After crossing the river via a suspension bridge, travelers will trek uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Here, they can visit H’mong families and observe their daily activities.
Ta Van - Following lunch, the trail continues with a two-hour trek up and down hills to Lao Chai, a large H’mong village, and then along the riverbank to Ta Van, home to the Zay people. Visitors can explore local homes and village schools, enjoying a rich cultural experience and the stunning scenery of Muong Hoa Valley. The day concludes with an overnight homestay in Ta Van village.
Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Hanoi
Ta Van - At around 7:00 am, guests enjoy breakfast at the homestay in the picturesque area of Ta Van village.
Giang Ta Chai Village - At 9:00 am, the group embarks on the second day of the tour. The trail leads uphill, passing through captivating terraced rice fields and small H’mong hamlets, before entering a bamboo forest and reaching a waterfall. After a scenic break, the journey continues for half an hour to Giang Ta Chai village, home to the Red Zao people, perched on a hill overlooking the Muong Hoa river.
Lao Cai Railway Station - At 5:30 pm, dinner is served at the hotel. The guide then escorts guests to Lao Cai station for an overnight train to Hanoi.
Hang Gai Street (Street of Hemp) - Travelers arrive in Hanoi at 4:40 am the next day and take a taxi back to their hotel independently, as the distance from Hanoi train station to the Hanoi Old Quarter is only 1 kilometer.
