Fantastic Experience - Fantastic experience! The tour guides are the best. They’ll make sure you see a manatee, even in the off -season. :)

Exceptional, be one with nature - This was very organized, and both our Captain Glen and Ross, our Manatee swim guide/expert made this such a memorable amazing experience! While in the water, I kept following what Glen was talking to us, he kept guiding from the boat the entire time and telling us how to do things, where the animals were, and reminded us of how to approach etc! This was such a delight! We also saw a somewhat big snapping turtle!!!! We went to 2 more areas to dive again, including a very secluded spring area by a house that no one really knows about with see through waters. We saw beautiful birds too. I want to come earlier in the year as there will be way more manatees as well. It was 10 of us on the boat, perfect mini group size.

Best Manatee Tour in the Area! Caring and talented guides at fair price! - From start to finish this manatee tour did not disappoint. With my parents being locals, I’ve done a few. I was in town visiting at the same time as family from Michigan. We had two that wanted to swim and two older members that just wanted to watch, loved that they accommodated both ( although the price difference wasn’t much). The location is right in the water, in a beautiful building with a clean, well stocked and fair priced gift shop. We were immediately greeted, got waivers signed (might be nice if this could be done in advance online) and allowed to change into swim suits. the facilities were super clean! Our guide (Dani-tee hehe) got us fitted into wet suites (felt like the others I’ve worn w other tours fit me better but everyone else looked great in theirs). After watching about a 10 minute stay video (again, would be nice to complete online in advance esp since it’s just a YouTube video) we got on the boat. Dani had us laughing right away and capt Steve did too. Dani went above and beyond with my little cousin who was scared and almost stayed on the boat, Dani helped her and she LOVED IT. Huge shout out to Dani for that and the great pics! They even came on an adorable manatee flashdrive

Great guides, great experience! - Bree - our guide in the water - and Captain Taylor were knowledgeable, funny, and great at finding manatees! They helped everyone in our large group have a great experience and get up close and personal with the manatees at our comfort level. Our little ones decided not to go in, and Taylor entertained them on the boat while we had our time in the water. The trip felt leisurely with plenty of time to float around and really take in the experience. They were very conscious and aware of respecting the manatees and their environment as well. Bree got great photos of our group and the manatees and we even saw a baby and mama eating together during our time in the water. Overall a great experience!

Early Morning Manatee Swim - This experience was everything I imagined! The boat captain had a great sense of humor and our guide knew exactly where to find the manatees and move around without disturbing them. There was quite a bit of swimming, but we expected that. We had a great time and definitely would recommend American Pro Diving Center for your manatee adventures.

What a great experience! - It was a great experience and we enjoyed the manatee mocha afterwards. Definitely need the wetsuits to stay afloat and not paddle much and to stay warm. We saw a few manatees and were able to get up close to see them eating, just wish the water was clearer but that’s not something we could have changed!

Patiently waiting for the manatees! It’s worth it - Manatee tour was pretty good. Took my 16 year old son with me. American Dive Center was well prepared and knowledgeable of the area. Of course by the end of March the manatees have left the bay and springs however there are still some hanging around. Just not what there would be in say February. Had it been April 1st many more areas would have been also available to search because protected areas would then be open such as near shore lines. Wet suits are a must!! Our leader was right out in the water with us, following the manatees, and guiding us by the arm when we were close, telling us where to look. We even followed a mother and her calf. Water was murky but we could still see them when up close. As much as you would like to touch the manatees, respect them and their space. Advice, take the morning tour as I was told the manatees are more active than in the afternoon. Some people on the tour said they had been out the previous afternoon with no luck. Would definitely go again, maybe earlier in the season though .

Don't book through Viator.... - Booking through Viator was an absolute disaster. The first booking was cancelled with NO notice. Luckily I got on the night before to make sure I had the address so I discovered our booking was cancelled. I then booked again and our booking was transfered to another vendor without notice and we ended up having to go to another manatee tour business. We made the boat late because of all of this. The people there said "when you book through a third party app like this they don't provide them your contact information incase anything changes" the manatee tour itself was FANTASTIC!! The captain and tour guide were both amazing humans and very accommodating.
