During this journey, the Captain and In-Water Guide will provide all the necessary information for interacting with these gentle creatures. Participants will learn about manatee facts and behavior, and our captains, who are highly knowledgeable about the Crystal River and Florida’s manatees, will be available to answer any questions.

Our tours offer: full wetsuits, masks, snorkels, and bottled water. All tours depart from our private docks, which feature heated changing facilities and hot showers.

As industry leaders, the Operator ensures that every tour is conducted by trained professionals. Manatee snorkel tours are guided by a USCG Captain along with a licensed and insured dive professional. In-water staff are certified first responders with training in first aid, CPR, AED administration, and in-water rescue. Captains and guides are also trained in manatee manners through the Manatee Eco Tourism Association in coordination with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. This training enables the Operator to lead the industry by running the safest tours on the water for both guests and manatees.
