With Manatees in Paradise, everything is managed on the water with no hidden fees or additional charges. The entire tour is dedicated to what everyone loves most…exploring the abundant nature and wildlife in and around Kings Bay! Each swim tour includes an in-water naturalist guide to assist your group and answer any questions along the way. Conditions change daily, but typically the aim is to swim at two locations per tour and spend the rest of the time touring King’s Bay and its many springs by boat. The team enjoys getting to know each valued guest and always provides education about the area’s history, ecosystem, and wildlife. Even if you’re new to snorkeling, relax and don’t worry about a thing…we’re on manatee time!

Our company is a small, family-owned business with a deep commitment to wildlife and the environment. Established in 2005 by volunteers dedicated to rescuing manatees, we focus on protecting the declining manatee population. Our mission has always been to provide top-notch educational and animal-friendly tours.
We have never aspired to have the largest fleet of boats. Instead, our goal is to minimize our environmental impact, which is why we offer only small tours. We are proud to be one of only two Guardian Guides with the Save the Manatee Club!
Whether or not you choose to book a tour with us, we kindly request that you respect the manatees and their habitat by not crowding or disturbing them. Any tour company that encourages petting wild manatees contributes to a persistent local issue. We enjoy snorkeling with the manatees but are always careful not to disrupt their natural behavior. You can also observe them beautifully from the boat, making it a truly magical experience whether you’re in the water or on the boat!
