Andy was awesome - Driver/tour guide was very organised and knowledgeable. Andy provided expert insight into the area, with information about the culture, geography and history of New Zealand. He was welcoming to all in our tour group, and made sure each group was looked after. He is a skilled driver who knows the roads and how to drive to conditions. Our family had a great time on our day out, thank you Andy. The kids enjoyed being able to listen to their music via the WiFi, and visit local cafes on the way to/from Mt Cook. Thanks again

Very good - The tour guide was amazing and very enthusiastic. It was a smooth ride there with a couple of stops along the way for bathroom breaks and food. They also supplied walking sticks and umbrellas for the conditions which was really helpful.

We. Got. Drenched. - We got drenched and had one of the best day of our lives. The views are spectacular and our guide was the same expert we had for Milford Sound, Amy. We were so please she recognised us! We attempted the Kea Point track but sadly it was too icy and wet to reach the “real” views but the ones we saw along the way took my breath away. Ended the day at the hotel with mulled wine and nachos. Pro tips - if it’s a rainy day, be prepared! Put your precious items in a zip lock. Take the hiking poles. And don’t overestimate your ability on slippery surfaces. Thank you Amy!!!

Great Experience - Thomas ( Tommy) was our tour guide/driver and did an incredible job providing relevant information on the sights we were seeing. We wanted to take a helicopter tour which landed on a glacier and he went out of his way to coordinate/make this happen for us. Would highly recommend this company/Tommy.

Customer Service and Experience Beyond Expectations. - There is excellent in customer service and then there is beyond excellent in customer service. Amy our driver exudes customer service and she is the best guide one could possibly hope for. We had booked the Mount Cook full day guided tour with Altitude Tours and they sent us Amy, truly the best of the best. From making sure we were comfortable in the vehicle (the temperature) to offering to take pictures, to her very helpful explanations and engagement with everyone in the vehicle; she truly made this experience memorable and enjoyable. If you rent a vehicle you will be focused on driving. Leave the driving to Amy while you take in the scenic landscape which is totally worth it. You can take an aircraft to mount cook but trust me driving is the best way to enjoy the scenery. Would we book this trip again? Yes. Any conditions? Yes, please give us Amy as our guide again!

Luxury Van, small group and all the information we needed was well told.
